Full Day Excursion to Porto Moniz with Lunch - West Coast
Duration: 8 hours Overview: You will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Camara de Lobos, a well known fishing village where the famous "Peixe Espada" or where black scabbard fish is found. Continue to Cabo Girao, Europe's highest sea cliff, to enjoy one of the most spectacular views of the Island. Drive along the coast to Ribeira Brava. From Ponta do Sol begin your ascent to Paul da Serra and visit Porto Muniz to enjoy the beauty of its natural swimming pools. Stop for lunch at a traditional restaurant. Continue your journey along the north coast, passing Seixal and Sao Vicente towns. Stop at Encumeada from where you can admire the sea on both the north and the south coasts. Return to Funchal.
Full Day Excursion to Santana - East Coast

Continue to Ribeiro Frio to visit a Trout Farm and admire an important part of Laurisilva Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Drive to Santana, known for its thatched roof houses followed by a stop for lunch at a traditional restaurant. Visit the towns of Portela, Ponta de Sao Lourenco and Machico before returning to Funchal.
