Kenya Safari - 7 Days
Day 1: Nairobi

On arrival at the airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at Hotel Panafric or similar
(Meal Plan: Bed and Breakfast).
Day 2: Nairobi - Nanyuki (Mount Kenya Safari Club)

After breakfast, enjoy a short game drive and continue to the luxurious Mount Kenya Safari Club with Mt. Kenya overlooking the meticulously manicured lawns and well tended gardens. Lunch will be soon after arrival. The afternoon is free to enjoy the peaceful ambiance or use the numerous activities of the Club: Horse-riding, tennis, golf, bowling and swimming in the heated pool. As the cool evening approaches, log fires will be lit in the fireplaces. Overnight at the Club.
Day 3: Nanyuki - Sweetwaters Sanctuary

After breakfast depart straight for Sweetwaters, driving through the scenic Mt. Kenya region to the Sweetwaters Sanctuary. Arrive in time for lunch. After a scrumptious meal, embark on your first game drive in the sanctuary. Visit the chimpanzee sanctuary where rescued chimpanzees are looked after and the small museum at the visitors' information centre. See a tame black rhino, named Morani, reared as an orphan by the Kenya wildlife service. Later, return to your camp / lodge and spend the rest of your evening at leisure. Overnight at the Sweetwaters Tented Camp.
Day 4: Sweetwaters - Nakuru

After breakfast, cross the Aberdare range of mountains, stopping briefly to gaze at the 73m Thompson’s Falls, named after Joseph Thompson, the Scots explorer, who was the first European to see the falls in 1884. Continue to Nakuru for lunch. After lunch, drive around Lake Nakuru National Park for an unforgettable sight of the thousands of flamingos on the alkaline lake. The park is also home to the rare white rhinos and Rothschild’s giraffe. The vegetation is mostly savanna type with both the back (fever tree) and umbrella top acacia growing in abundance as also euphorbia. Overnight at a Lodge in Nakuru.
Day 5: Nakuru - Masai Mara

There's time after breakfast to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the lake before leaving for Masai Mara National Reserve where you arrive by lunch time. Afternoon game drive to locate the black-maned lion for which the Reserve is famous. Overnight at a Lodge in Mara.
Day 6: Masai Mara

Optional early morning game drive before breakfast. A full day’s game viewing of Kenya’s array of wildlife in their natural habitat. More than 60 species of animals are found here as well as a myriad of birds. The vegetation is generally savanna type with clumps of trees near water holes. These supply shade as well as foliage to elephants. The rivers are lined with gallery forest. The acacias supply the Masai giraffe with their favorite food. This trip could be very rewarding as one is most likely to see lion enjoying a kill. The game reserve is noted for its black maned lion. Overnight at a Lodge in Mara.
Day 7: Mara - Nairobi

Depart Mara after breakfast and arrive Nairobi in the afternoon.
