Sri Lankan Bliss – 8 Days
Day 1: Colombo – Kandy – Sigriya
Arrive in Sri Lanka. You will be met by our representative for transfer to Sigiriya.

En route visit Pinnawala elephant orphanage, the best time to visit is the feeding time from 09:30 - 10:00hrs and 13:30 - 14:00 hrs and the bathing time from 10:00 - 10:30 hrs and 14:00 - 14:30 hrs when all the elephants are taken to the river close by. Dinner & overnight.
Day 2: Sigriya
Breakfast at the hotel. We shall proceed to visit Sigiriya - Lion Rock an “UNESCO World Heritage Site” and the 5th century “Fortress in the Sky” which is perhaps the most fantastic single wonder of the Island. It is also known as Lion Rock because of the huge lion that used to stand at the entrance to the Palace on the summit of the 600-foot high rock.

Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple an isolated rock mass 500 feet high and a mile around the base. In the first Cave is a recumbent image of the Buddha 47 ft long cut out of the Rock. In the second cave, the finest and the largest of all, there are 150 life-size statues of the Buddha in various postures with few statues of gods and kings. The ceiling is also covered with frescoes, which depict great events in the life of the Buddha and landmarks in the history of the Sinhalese people. Dinner & overnight.
Day 3: Sigriya – Hatton
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Hatton via Kandy. Overnight at Ceylon Tea trails, Hatton (Luxury Room) on all inclusive basis. Overnight.
Day 4: Hatton
Breakfast at the hotel. Leisure at resort. Overnight at Ceylon Tea trails, Hatton (Luxury Room) on all inclusive basis.
Day 5: Hatton – Bentota
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Bentota via Kitulgala. Overnight at Saman Villas, Bentota (Superior Suite).
Day 6: Bentoa
Breakfast at the hotel. Today morning we shall visit Balaptiya boat safari in Madhu River.

Discover the unique beauty of MADU GANGA nature on a boat trip. Admire various birds, the waterwarans, even crocodiles and the mind-blowing mangroves. Visit a cinnamon farmer, an ancient temple on a small island, a fish farm and the marvelous floating red and white lotus flower fields. You find Maadu Ganga after passing Ahungalle when you travel southward from Colombo. The river flows through a thick jungle of mangroves. Maadu Ganga is really a fascinating place. But the real beauty of Maadu Ganga can be enjoyed only if you sail down stream for about a kilometer. The river spreads out to a very wide area creating about 25 to 30 tiny islands. Visit Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery. Overnight at Saman Villas, Bentota (Superior Suite).
Day 7: Bentota – Colombo
Breakfast at the hotel & then proceed to Colombo the business and commercial center of Sri Lanka. Visit Fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison, Sea Street - the Goldsmith’s quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area where there is also a hindu temple with elaborate stone carvings, the Kayman’s gate with the belfry at the original gate to enter the fort. Then rest of the day is free for shopping. Check into your hotel. Dinner & overnight.
Day 8: Colombo - Airport (BIA) / Colombo
Breakfast and transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
