Kanha Tiger Reserve is one of the best tiger reserves in India and the largest national park of Madhya Pradesh. Immortalized by Kipling’s "Jungle Book" Kanha’s jungles of Sal and Bamboo are some of the richest tiger habitats in the world. Go on safari and watch the Bengal tiger, leopard, sloth bear, barasingha and dhole. The best time to explore Kanha is from November to March. Sightings are best from March to June as animals search for water and shade. April/May/June can be warm.

With twelve luxury Shikhar tents pitched along the edge of a manmade lake, Bagh Villas' serene vibe centers around the lake that was also designed to collect and harvest rainwater during the scarce monsoon.

Inspired by the Maharajas during their hunting expeditions, the luxury tents at Bagh Villas use the traditional Shikar design. Pitched on an elevated wooden platform, each tent is located along a lake and amidst a verdant foliage of trees. The spacious, air-conditioned tents havean individual verandah in front to observe the teeming bird and animal life all around.

Day 1: Raipur - Kanha National Park (170 km/approx 3.5 hrs)

Arrive at Raipur airport/railway station and transfer to beautiful Bagh Villas. Check in and relax.

Lunch, dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Kanha National Park

6:30 - 11:30 hrs : Enjoy your exciting Jungle Safari by shared Jeep. Return to resort for breakfast and lunch. Free time for independent activities.

15:00 - 18:30 hrs : Proceed for Jungle Safari by shared Jeep.

Dinner and overnight.

Kanha National Park Safaris are closed on every Wednesday afternoon from 15th October to 30th June every season.

Day 3: Kanha National Park

6:30 - 11:30 hrs : Proceed for Jungle Safari by shared Jeep. Return to resort for breakfast, lunch and relax awhile.

15:00 - 18:30 hrs : Go on a Jungle Safari by shared Jeep.

Dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Kanha National Park – Raipur Airport / Railway Station

Breakfast. Check out and drive to Raipur Airport / Railway Station. Take home wonderful memories of your trip to Kanha.
