This cultural tour offers an opportunity to visit famous Varanasi and the Golden Triangle.

Visit Varanasi, the holy city of India, also known by the name of Kashi and Banaras. It is the city of Moksha for Hindus since centuries and the most popular pilgrimage site for Hindus. One of the seven holiest cities, Varanasi is also one of the Shakti Peethas and one of the twelve Jyotir Linga sites in India. In Hinduism it is believed that those who die and are cremated here get an instant gateway to liberation from the cycle of births and re-births.

The Golden Triangle Tour is the most popular tourist circuit of India. It includes heritage cities of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. Get a taste of India’s historical monuments, heritage, culture, shopping, handicrafts, folk dances, music and culinary marvels.

Day 1: Varanasi - Sarnath Visit

Arrive Varanasi and check in at your hotel. (Room reserved at hotel from 1400 hrs).

Visit the buried city of Sarnath, one of the holiest cities for Buddhists which is located north east of Varanasi. Buddha came to Sarnath and preached the way to Nirvana. Later, Ashoka, the great Buddhist emperor erected magnificent stupas and monasteries here, the ruins of which are visible today. The museum houses an excellent collection of Buddhist art and sculptures.

Evening take a walk through the narrow lanes near to Ghats to witness Aarti Ceremony on Ghats.

Day 2: Varanasi - Ganges Boat Ride, Varanasi Sightseeing - Delhi

Enjoy an early morning boat ride on the river Ganges past the ghats where the women bathe discreetly in their sarees, the young men display prowess in yogic postures and the Brahmin priests offer prayers for one and all. Return to your hotel for breakfast, followed by check out of your hotel.

Proceed for a guided tour of Varanasi, the holiest of cities for Hindus. It is amongst the oldest living cities in the world. The city tour includes visits to the numerous temples, which dot the banks of the river Ganges.

Transfer to the airport on your own to for your flight to Delhi. Arrive and transfer to hotel in Delhi on your own. (Room reserved at hotel in Delhi from 1400 hrs). Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 3: Delhi - Full Day Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for a guided tour of Old Delhi visiting Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat and driving past the Red Fort enroute.

In the afternoon visit New Delhi - drive by Government buildings, Parliament House and President House and visit the Qutub Minar.

Day 4: Delhi - Agra (204 kms / Approx 4 hrs)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Agra. Arrive in Agra and transfer to your hotel. (Room reserved at hotel in Agra from 1400 hrs).

Enjoy your visit to Agra, the erstwhile capital of India under the great Mughals and home of the magnificent Taj Mahal. Most of Agra is on the west bank of river Yamuna, with the Agra Fort and Taj Mahal at its nucleus.

Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj Mahal is quite simply, one of mankind's most remarkable creations. Marvel at its incredible architectural excellence.

Note: The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays.

Day 5: Agra - Jaipur (235 kms / Approx 6 hrs)

After breakfast check out and drive to Jaipur the charming Pink City of India. Arrive and check in at your hotel. (Room reserved at hotel in Agra from 1400 hrs). Evening at leisure.

Day 6: Jaipur - City Tour

After breakfast enjoy a tour of Jaipur with its rich and colorful past, resplendent with tales of valor. It is one of the most important heritage cities in India. The city was founded in the year 1728 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the ruler of Amber. Take an elephant or Jeep ride to the top of Amber Fort built on a rock. Visit the palace, exquisitely decorated with beautiful pillars, frescoes, trompe l'oeil, see the Sheesh Mahal (Palace of Mirrors), with its inlaid miniscule mirrors.

In the afternoon tour of Jaipur, see the Astronomical Observatory, the Jantar Mantar which is a collection of nineteen architectural astronomical instruments built by the Rajput King Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur. The monument was completed in 1734. It features the world's largest stone sundial, and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. See the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), the ‘City Palace' and the museum. In the evening go shopping in the colorful bazaars or return to hotel.

Day 7: Jaipur

Enjoy breakfast at hotel and check out.
