Day 1: Interlaken

Arrive in Interlaken by train. Interlaken lies in the Bernese Oberland on an alluvial plain, between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. The vacation destination, which is presided over by the three mighty mountains, Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, is the starting point for numerous activities. Time at leisure for optional excursions.

Overnight in Interlaken.

Day 2: Interlaken - Jungfraujoch

Breakfast. Excursion from Interlaken up to the Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe. From Interlaken Ost, the train takes you via Grindelwald or Wengen to the Kleine Scheidegg, at the foot of the famous Eiger North Face. The Jungfrau Railway at 3454m is the highest railway station in Europe. It takes you up to the Jungfraujoch. Enjoy breath-taking views of the Aletsch Glacier, the longest glacier in the Alps.

Overnight in Interlaken.

Day 3: Interlaken - Lucerne

Breakfast. Enjoy a one hour 50-minute rail journey over the Brünig Pass to Lucerne. Rest of the day at leisure for sightseeing or excursions.

Day 4: Lucerne - Pilatus

Breakfast. Lake Lucerne cruise from Lucerne to Alpnachstad, then up to the Pilatus Kulm 2132 m by the steepest cogwheel railway in the world (from approx. Mid-May to October). During winter you take the bus from Lucerne to Kriens and further with the panorama gondolas from Kriens up to the summit on Pilatus Kulm. Time at leisure.

Day 5: Lucerne

Breakfast. Time at leisure. Individual return journey.
