Amman City Tour (Half Day)

Overview: After your hotel pick up, meet your local site guide at the Roman Theatre, still used for cultural events. Continue to the Citadel, the site of the earliest fortifications, see Roman, Byzantine and Early Islamic ruins like the Temples of Hercules, the Umayyad Palace complex with its huge audience hall and a Byzantine Church. Visit the Archaeological Museum, go through downtown Amman and the bazaar before returning.

Half Day Tour of Jerash

Full day tour of Bethany Baptismal Site, Mount Nebo and Madaba

Overview: Visit the site of John the Baptist's settlement at Bethany Beyond the Jordan, where Jesus was baptized as mentioned in the Bible and in Byzantine and medieval texts.
