Overview: Your interpreter-guide will take you to the Chateau of Versailles, home to Louis 14th, the Sun King. Your visit will begin by a one-hour guided tour of the Castle, more particularly of the Grand Apartments (the Queen's bedroom, the famous Galerie des Glaces [Mirror Gallery], etc.). During this excursion, you may freely discover the picturesque formal gardens.

Overview: Versailles is more than a Palace surrounded by beautiful gardens. It also has a huge park where you can discover two small castles called Grand and Petit Trianons, former summer residences of the kings, who loved to rest and forget about the 'Etiquette' of the Court. In the morning enjoy a guided visit to the State Apartments (which contain the Hall of Mirrors and the Queen's Bedroom) and free time to take a walk around the French style gardens. Next, a short city tour in an open top deck bus, before enjoying lunch in the park near the Grand Canal. In the afternoon, visit the Grand and Petit Trianons and stroll in the park to Marie-Antoinette's Hamlet, the fancy farm where she loved to welcome her best friends.

Overview: Inspired by the beautiful, peaceful and colorful countryside of Giverny, Claude Monet settled here in 1883 for the rest of his life. Enjoy a guided visit to the wonderful flower gardens and the famous Japanese bridge. Take some free time to visit Monet's home and former studio (unescorted). The afternoon ends with either shopping or a stroll up to the American Museum.

Overview: Visit the village of Barbizon, made famous by artists like Millet, Rousseau and Stevenson. Cross the forest to the castle of Fontainebleau, home to French kings and emperors for eight centuries. An audio-guided tour of the castle will be followed by some free time in the gardens. Continue to Vaux-le-Vicomte, Nicolas Fouquet's masterpiece which inspired Louis XIV for the Palace of Versailles. After some lunch on site, ( Included) go on an audio-guided tour of the main rooms of the castle. The day will end with some free time to stroll through the garden and the Carriage Museum.
