Day 1: Melbourne - Melbourne Cricket Ground Tour – Eureka Skydeck 88 plus Voyager Theatre
Arrive Melbourne and take a private sedan transfer from Melbourne airport to your hotel. Check in and freshen up. Visit the Melbourne Cricket Ground – Visit the inner sanctum of the Melbourne Cricket Ground and experience an unforgettable MCG Tour with access to all areas including player change rooms, the Ron Casey Media Centre, member only areas of the Melbourne Cricket Club such as the Long Room and a walk on the hallowed arena.
Eureka Skydeck 88: At Melbourne Skydeck, enjoy a view of the city from a height of nearly 300 metres. It features Bar 88, operated by the Eureka 89 team.
Day 2: Melbourne - Phillip Island Day Tour
Breakfast. Pick up and drop off from city centre hotel or selected location. Visit the iconic Brighton Beach Bathing Boxes, enjoy a guided tour of the exhibits at Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park. Continue to Phillip Island, with a visit to Point Grant and The Nobbies to enjoy views over Westernport Bay and Bass Strait, including Seal Rocks, home to Australia’s largest population of fur seals.
And then, enjoy the Phillip Island penguin tour. Just after dark every night, the world’s smallest penguins waddle ashore after spending the day fishing out at sea. Watch the enchanting stars of the show emerge from the surf and pass right before your eyes on their journey back to their homes. Your guide will ensure you get the very best vantage point to enjoy the Penguin Parade. Return to Melbourne.
Day 3: Melbourne – Full Day Great Ocean Road Tour
Breakfast. Pick up and drop off at city centre hotel or selected location. Departing Melbourne at around 8.00 am, enjoy panoramic views of the city and Port Phillip Bay as you cross the Westgate Bridge, Australia’s longest bridge. Pass by and learn a little about Victoria’s second-largest city, Geelong, enroute towards the Surf Coast, with its enchanting beachside towns and powerful swells.
In Torque, stop to visit the beach and enjoy a complimentary morning tea. Set out along the Great Ocean Road, as your driver guide provides informative commentary about the road’s history and its place in Australian folklore. The tour also includes a visit to Apollo Bay, Twelve Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, wild spot, Shipwreck Coast. Return to Melbourne.
Day 4: Melbourne - Cairns
Breakfast. Seat in coach transfer from hotel to Melbourne airport. Depart for Cairns. Arrive and transfer on seat in coach basis to your hotel. Rest of the evening is at leisure.
Day 5: Cairns - Kuranda Scenic Rail Tour, Rainforest & Sky Rail
Breakfast. Pickup from selected hotels or nearby pick up points and transfer to the train station by coach. Visit the beautiful village of Kuranda, nestled in a pristine World Heritage listed rainforest. Climb aboard the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway and take in views of the surrounding mountains enroute. Rising from sea level to 328 meters, the journey to Kuranda passes spectacular waterfalls and then takes you into the stunning Barron Gorge.
Enjoy 2.5 hours of free time to explore the markets, shops and walking trails or take a river cruise (seasonal). Discover the amazing array of food stalls and cafés or dine with the resident water dragons at Frogs Restaurant, famous for their freshly made sauces and dressings.
Take the famous Skyrail spanning 7.5 km. over the pristine rainforest canopy, back down to Skyrail Smithfield Station. You could also book to go up via Skyrail and return via scenic rail, subject to availability. Return to the hotel on your own.
Day 6: Cairns - Full Day Green Island Great Barrier Reef Cruise
Breakfast. Pickup and drop from centrally located hotels. Enjoy a full day adventure and sail to the Great Barrier Reef by catamaran. Visit tropical Green Island to snorkel among colourful coral gardens and reef fish. Laze on a sandy beach or explore the ocean via a semi-submersible or glass bottom boat.
This tour includes the cruise to Green Island by catamaran, FREE choice of snorkelling gear or a glass bottom boat tour, snorkelling demonstration & reef presentation enroute to Green Island, use of Big Cat vessel during time at island as an air-conditioned base, Island rainforest boardwalks buffet lunch & semi-submarine tour.
Day 7: Cairns – Sydney
Breakfast. Transfer on seat in coach basis to Cairns airport. Depart for Sydney, arrive and transfer on seat in coach basis to your hotel.
Day 8: Sydney - Full Day Blue Mountains Sunset Tour
Breakfast. Pick up from selected hotels or nearby pick up point and drop off. Visit one of the most spectacular World Heritage listed National Parks spanning across thousands of hectares of wilderness rainforest, canyons, sandstone escarpments and towering eucalyptus trees that creates a haze of blue vapor under the harsh Australian sun. See spectacular Three Sisters rock formation, overlooking picturesque landscapes, enjoy guided bush walks along secret trails, Jamison Valley, Wentworth Falls and Australian wildlife sightings in their natural habitat.
Bring your stuff with you: sunscreen, water bottle, hat & sunglasses, warm clothes, camera & comfortable walking shoes.
Day 9: Sydney – Hop on Hop off Tour
Breakfast. Double decker buses on 2 Routes Sydney City and Bondi Explorer. The Sydney tour is Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House, Darling Harbour, the Bondi Beach tour There are over 30 stops in the two tours to hop off. Both tours feature an entertaining and informative audio commentary. Spend time at a site at your pace and then hop on again on to the bus. Rest of the day is at leisure. Catch up on shopping or choose from one of the optional attractions like the Sydney Bridge Climb or catch an Opera at the Sydney Opera House.
Day 10: Sydney
Breakfast. Transfer by seat in coach from hotel to Sydney Airport. Return home with wonderful memories!
