Treasures of Troodos

Overview: Drive through the pine-clad Troodos Mountains dotted with picturesque villages to the famous Kykkos Monastery. The monastery is the richest of all Cypriot monasteries and is dedicated to Our Lady. It was originally founded by the Byzantines in 1092 and is renowned for its wealth of frescoes, colorful mosaics, gold icons and glittering ornamentation. Enjoy some free time for lunch (not included).
