Arrival to Istanbul and take a connecting flight to Cappadocia. Arrive at Cappadocia and transfer to your hotel. Refresh yourself. Late in the afternoon visit the Underground city. Underground cities are literally cities build underground. Some of them are really huge – 12 stories below. They were used to hide against invaders during war. Cappadocia has dozens of underground cities.
Deep wells provided water and tall chimneys ventilation. Wine presses, oil storage, livestock pens, cooking-places and even elaborate churches were carved out of the rock so that the inhabitants could live for weeks or months underground until it was safe to emerge and return to their ground-level villages. Breakfast. Today join the tour to visit the Devrent Valley with it's the unique fairy-chimneys. Drive to Pasabagi (Monk's Valley) to see the most interesting mushroom-shaped pinnacles. Drive to the city of Avanos for lunch. In the afternoon visit the Open Air Museum at Goreme where the remains of rock-cut churches and Christian settlements date back hundreds of years. Before returning to your hotel, visit the Uchisar area and photo stop. In the evening enjoy a romantic candle light dinner with wine. Overnight.
Breakfast. Take your flight to Izmir via Istanbul. Upon arrival to Izmir transfer to the hotel of your choice and relax. Rest of the evening is at leisure. Overnight.
Breakfast. Check out and transfer in a private car for Pamukkale. We shall visit Hierepolis site, Cotton Castle & ruins. Check in and Overnight in Pamukkale.
Breakfast. Check out and we shall begin the tour of the ancient Greek city, later a major Roman city, on the west coast of Asia Minor which is called Ephesus, stroll past the Celsius library, the Temple Of Hadrian and the Trajan Fountain in the Ancient Ephesus. After walking on the historical marble street the Great Theater where St. Paul preached the gospel. Lunch will be served at Turkish restaurant. Proceed for the airport for your flight to Istanbul. Overnight in Istanbul.
Breakfast. Visit the magnificent Byzantine church of St Sophia, one of the finest architectural works in the world; continue to the 17th century Blue Mosque, one of the largest mosques in Istanbul famous for its blue tiles and 6 minarets. You will also visit the Hippodrome, the former center of sporting and political activities in Constantinople. During the visit you will be able to see the Obelisk from Egypt, the Serpentine Column from Delphi and the fountain of Willhelm II. Finally, visit the historic Grand Bazaar that will tempt you with its rich collection of precious handmade carpets, jewelry, leather and souvenirs. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight.
Breakfast. The morning is at leisure in the afternoon we shall proceed for the half day Asia Tour. Your tour begins with a drive across the magnificent Bosphorus Suspension Bridge, which divides the continents of Europe and Asia. Continue to Camlica Hill, the highest point of Istanbul and take photos of the stunning panorama before you. Drive to the summer palace of the Sultans which is in a small village by the Bosphorus called Beylerbeyi. The palace is actually a mansion built in the 19th century influenced by Western architecture. Take a guided tour of its extravagantly decorated interior. End the tour with a visit to Bagdat Street, the most popular street on the Asian side of Istanbul with elegant boutiques and shopping outlets. Overnight.
