Overview: The only aquarium in the world dedicated exclusively to the habitats and species of tropical North Queensland, the Cairns Aquarium connects visitors with the natural wonders of The Great Barrier Reef, The Wet Tropics, The Gulf Savannah and Cape York regions. With over 16,000 animals from 10 different ecosystems and 71 habitats across Tropical North Queensland are less than a hand span away and their ever-changing activities and behaviors will keep you mesmerized. The Cairns Aquarium is a place of learning, fun and discovery!

You are spoilt for choice with five unique venues to choose from - each with their own highly themed habitats, animals and visual backdrops that make this dining experience so memorable. Choices include the Cairns Aquarium Restaurant or for the ultimate wow factor there is nothing that compares to the Ocean Room in the heart of the aquarium.

Hot Air Ballooning

Duration: 30 Minutes
Overview: After hotel pick up travel to Mareeba, via the Kuranda Range where a suitable launch site will be decided and your balloon is prepared for takeoff. Site selection depends on weather variations and wind direction on the day. As the sun rises, your pilot gently lifts off and glides your balloon over the panoramic Cairns Highlands. After this exhilarating experience, collect your personalized flight certificate. Return to your hotel via Kuranda.

Cairns Tropical Zoo

Duration: At your own pace
Overview: This award winning attraction is the most outstanding wildlife experience in the Cairns region, just 20 minutes from Cairns. As you meander through the Zoo's award winning tropical gardens, discover fascinating and rare animals both from Australia and other regions of the world such as Nepalese Red Pandas and Ring-tailed Lemurs. Cuddle a Koala, feed a kangaroo, see giant crocodiles and enjoy great wildlife presentations and tours. There's so much to see and do!

Tjapukai by Night with Hotel Transfer

Duration: 3 Hours 30 Minutes
Overview: After your hotel pick up, drive to the Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park. Enjoy a delicious 5 star buffet dinner whilst watching an amazing lakeside fire and dance ceremony from the world famous Tjapukai Dancers. Enjoy the beauty and power of Australia's ancient indigenous culture. After a stunning finale, transfer back to your hotel.

Afternoon City Sights Tour

Duration: 4 Hours
Overview: Enjoy an informative introduction to the northern tropical capital including the Chinese Temple, the splendid 34 hectare Darwin Botanic Gardens and the elegant colonial architecture. Continue on to East Point, Stokes Hill Wharf area and the Museum and Art Gallery, which houses fine collections of Balinese, Australian, Aboriginal and New Guinean art.

Hartley's Crocodile Adventure

Duration: 5 Hours
Overview: Hartley's Crocodile Adventures is the best place to see crocodiles in tropical North Queensland. Enjoy a lagoon cruise through the ecologically significant Melaleuca wetlands, the domain of the saltwater crocodile. Explore the rest of the park with its abundance of wildlife including water birds, turtles, wallabies and cassowaries. See the Crocodile Attack Show and hold a crocodile for a photo (own expense). Discover the world's most venomous snakes at the Snake Show before transfer to your hotel in Cairns.

Kuranda Scenic Train and Skyrail Tour

Duration: 6 Hours
Overview: After your hotel pick up, transfer to Cairns Railway Station to board the Kuranda scenic train. It is a spectacular journey of 1.45 hrs comprising beautiful views of dense rainforest, steep ravines and picturesque waterfalls. Take short walk from the station to Kuranda village and enjoy shopping at the markets or explore the attractions in the area. Stroll down to Skyrail and board the 2 pm gondola back to Caravonica Terminal where you will be met at 3:15pm and transferred to your hotel.

Iconic Australia

Duration: 8 Hours 15 Minutes
Overview: Enjoy 2 experiences which are typically Australian - and Cairns Tropical Zoo and Tjapukai Aboriginal Park. After hotel pick up, visit Cairns Tropical Zoo and spend the morning exploring the Zoo's tropical gardens, discover rare animals from Australia and other regions of the world such as Nepalese Red Pandas and Ring Tailed Lemurs. Cuddle a koala, feed a kangaroo, see giant crocodiles and enjoy great wildlife presentations.

In the afternoon, visit Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park, which celebrates the living history of the indigenous people of the Rainforest. Learn to play the didgeridoo, discover the medicinal values of bush tucker, learn how to throw a spear and enjoy professional theatre of traditional Aboriginal culture with dancing, fire making and storytelling. Transfer to your hotel in Cairns, arriving at approximately 5 pm.

Outer Barrier Reef Cruise

Duration: 8 Hours 30 Minutes
Overview: ake a memorable trip to Moore Reef on the Outer Great Barrier Reef. Travel on board Sunlover's modern air-conditioned catamaran, enjoy morning and afternoon tea or coffee and a tasty tropical hot and cold buffet lunch. Join a glass bottom boat or semi sub coral viewing tour or snorkel under the watchful eye of lifeguards with all equipment provided. Duration: 8 Hours 30 Minutes
Overview: Step aboard your luxury catamaran at the Marlin Jetty Cairns for your Outer Barrier Reef adventure to Milln, Flynn and Thetford Reefs. Snorkelers and divers can explore spectacular coral formations and underwater gardens awash with vibrantly colored marine creatures. A snorkel tour with a Reef Guide and equipment is available. The optional Introductory Dive is conducted by qualified PADI instructors. Enjoy morning and afternoon tea and a hot and cold tropical buffet lunch.

Big 3 Kuranda Full Day

Duration: 8 Hours 30 Minutes
Overview: Experience three of Far North Queensland's most iconic attractions. After your hotel pick up in Cairns, visit Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park and enjoy a morning of cultural activities and shows. Your next stop is next door to ride on Skyrail. Journey by cableway to Kuranda to spend some free time exploring Kuranda Village and Heritage Markets. In the afternoon, enjoy a spectacular ride back to Cairns on board the Kuranda Scenic Railway. Upon arrival at Freshwater station you will be met by your shuttle for the transfer back to your Cairns hotel, arriving around 5.30 pm.

Great Barrier Reef Adventure and Green Island

Duration: 9 Hours
Overview: Board a catamaran and enjoy tea and coffee prior to departure. Cruise out to Green Island, a beautiful 6,000-year-old coral cay where you will have two hours to explore or simply relax on the beach. Head out to a luxury pontoon on the Outer Reef featuring undercover seating and tables and enjoy a sumptuous hot and cold buffet lunch. Spend 3 hours here Spend and enjoy options including snorkeling and taking a semi-submersible coral viewing tour. Scuba diving courses are also available at your own expense.

Fitzroy Island Activity Package with Transfer

Duration: 9 Hours 10 Minutes
Overview: After your hotel pick up, transfer to the terminal for your high speed catamaran trip to beautiful Fitzroy Island. Cruise along the coastline passing spectacular scenery. The island is covered in a lush rainforest that descends dramatically into crystal clear water, teeming with colorful tropical fish and coral. Enjoy all the resort's facilities: the pool & bar, beach hire equipment and either a glass bottom boat tour or snorkel hire. Optional activities: sea kayaking, beach fishing and fishing tours (extra cost). Spend 7 hours exploring the island at your own pace. Depart at 4.30 pm for Cairns.

Full Day White Water Rafting - Tully River

Duration: 12 Hours
Overview: After your hotel pick up, your coach heads south to the upper gorge of the Mighty Tully River in the stunning World Heritage listed rainforest. Spend the day rafting through grade 3 - 4 rapids. Half way down, enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch on the banks of the river. Continue rafting in the foaming white water of the lower gorge. Then change into your dry clothes and head to the famous Raging Thunder Venue where you can buy a cold drink and photos of the day's action. Transfer to your hotel.

Cape Tribulation Go Jungle Surfing

Duration: 12 Hours 30 Minutes
Overview: Enjoying a scenic coastal drive along the Captain Cook Highway to Port Douglas. Arrive in Port Douglas and visit The Rainforest Habitat Wildlife Sanctuary. See the endangered cassowary and other wildlife, have your photo taken with a koala, snake or crocodile (own expense). Head to Cape Tribulation via the Daintree River Cable Ferry. After crossing the river, stop for lunch. Go Jungle Surfing - fly through the trees on zip lines, with a birds eyes view into the canopy and out to the reef. Enjoy free time to explore Myall Beach before returning to Cairns.
