Day 1: Saint Petersburg

Arrive St. Petersburg Airport where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure to relax.

Day 2: Saint Petersburg – City Tour – Peter & Paul Fortress

After breakfast, today enjoy a city tour, during which you will admire the splendid views of St. Petersburg: the Arts Square, surrounded by 3 museums and 4 theatres; the Palace Square offering an impressive view of the Baroque Winter Palace; the historical “Strelka” (Cape) of the Vasilyevsky Island; the famous Nevsky Avenue considered the “heart” of the city. You will be fascinated by the quiet wide rivers and the canals system, the beautiful bridges, the majestic domes of Orthodox churches and cathedrals and much more. Visit the famous Peter and Paul Fortress built by Peter the Great. The construction of his new capital began on May 27th, 1703, and today, it is considered the birthplace of St. Petersburg. After lunch enjoy some free time on your own or take an optional tour

Day 3: Saint Petersburg – Hermitage Museum

After breakfast visit the Hermitage Museum, Russia’s best gallery of world art, one of the most prominent art museums in the world and definitely the main tourist attraction of St. Petersburg. The principal building of the Hermitage Museum is the Winter Palace, the residence of the Russian Czars, magnificently located on the bank of the Neva River. The museum was founded in 1764, when Catherine the Great purchased a collection of 255 paintings from the German city of Berlin.

Today, the Hermitage boasts over 2.7 million exhibits and displays a diverse range of art and artifacts from all over the world throughout history. The Hermitage collection includes works by Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael and Titian, a unique collection of Rembrandts and Rubens. After lunch enjoy free time on your own or choose an optional tour.

Day 4: Saint Petersburg

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport.
