Upon arrival in Colombo, you will be met by our representative and transferred to Kandy. Enroute visit one of the most important attractions in Sri Lanka, the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage where volunteers and caretakers provide shelter and take care of orphaned, abandoned, and injured elephants. Watch them feed and bathe them in the nearby river. Continue to Kandy. Arrive and check in at your hotel.

After breakfast, enjoy the city tour, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a sacred place for Buddhists. The Buddha’s tooth was brought to Sri Lanka in the 4th century, hidden in an Orissan princess’s hair. It is Sri Lanka’s most prized possession. The tooth relic is encased in seven golden caskets which are engraved with precious gemstones.
Transfer to Nuwara Eliya and enjoy a city tour which includes the golf course, trout streams, Victoria Park, and boating or fishing on Lake Gregory. Also visit a working tea factory where the slow-growing tea bushes of this highland region produce some of the world’s finest Orange Pekoe tea. Visit the Seetha Eliya, home of a temple mentioned in the famous epic Ramayana. Also see Haggala Gardens with floating lotuses and water lilies.

After breakfast, transfer to Bentota, city of Golden Beaches. Enjoy the sun, sea, and sand. Water sports lovers can enrol themselves in various water sports. Spend the rest of the day relaxing at your hotel.

After breakfast, enjoy a city tour which includes a boat ride along the scenic Madhu River, passing many islets surrounded by mangroves. The Turtle Hatchery is the prime turtle nesting site and was opened by the Wildlife Protection Society in 1981. See huge tanks filled with new-born turtle hatchlings. Spend the rest of the day relaxing.

After breakfast, drive to vibrant Colombo, the commercial capital of Sri Lanka and a mixture of modern and colonial influences. Many colonial buildings influenced by the Portuguese, Dutch, and British exist alongside structures built in Buddhist, Hindu, Islamic, Indian, and contemporary architectural styles. Colombo also boasts many shopping malls and department stores that offer brand-name clothing at highly discounted prices.
Visit Galle Face Green, the Viharamahadevi Park, the National Museum, the Twin World Trade Center Towers, the Old Parliament Building, the Fort district, Independence Hall at Independence Square, and prominent Buddhist, Hindu, Islamic, and Christian places of worship. Transfer to your hotel.

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
