Buffet breakfast. Visit the Great Pyramid of Giza; (Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus) one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Nearby is the Great Sphinx of Giza, which dates from the time of Chephren (2620 BC). This unforgettable statue combines the head of a Pharaoh with a lion's body. A quick visit to the papyrus institute or a perfume shop is possible after the visit. Then drive to the hotel to refresh & check out.
After lunch (on your own) in an oriental/Indian/Chinese restaurant drive to the Egyptian Museum which was established by the Egyptian government in 1835. The present museum building was built in 1900, in the new classical style by Marcel Dourgnon. The museum’s exhibits over 120,000 objects ranging from pre-historic era to the Greco Roman period. It has 107 halls, and the ground floor houses huge statues. The upper floor houses small statues, jewels, Tutankhamen treasures. The museum also has a photography section and large library.
Drive through downtown to Khan El Khalili bazaars, famous worldwide with its amazing narrow alleyways. Discover small restaurants and cafes where locals and visitors come to smoke water pipes and enjoy some of the traditional Egyptian drinks. Drive back to your hotel. Take an Optional tour to enjoy the spectacular sound & light show by the Pyramids.
Overnight.
Breakfast. Check out and transfer to the airport for your flight to Luxor. Meet & assist, and transfer to the Nile cruiser. Check-in and enjoy lunch on board. Visit East Bank (Karnak & Luxor Temples), return to your ship for dinner.
Overnight in Luxor.
Breakfast. Visit West Bank - Valley of the Kings, and Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Lunch on board. Sail to Edfu via Esna. Dinner on board.
Overnight in Edfu.
Breakfast. In the morning visit Horus Temple in Edfu and then sail on to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board. In the evening visit the Temple shared by two gods Sobek & Haeroris in Kom Ombo. Sail on to Aswan. Dinner on board.
Overnight in Aswan.
After breakfast, visit the High Dam, and the Temple of Philae. Return to cruiser for lunch followed by Felucca ride around Kitchener Island. Return to cruiser for dinner.
Overnight in Aswan.
Disembark after breakfast and transfer to Aswan or Aswan airport for your flight to Cairo. Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Take an optional Nile Dinner Cruise to see Cairo by night & enjoy a folkloric show.
Overnight in Cairo.
After breakfast check-out and transfer to Cairo International airport.
