Day Tour to Petra

Overview: After your hotel pick up in Eilat, drive to the Jordanian border crossing where your guide will meet you. Drive 80 km to Petra, stopping en route at a guesthouse. Continue via King's Highway and stop near Hasan Prince Palace for a grand view of the Petra mountains before arriving at the Petra visitor centre. Enter the city with your guide through the Siq or main passage and be rewarded with the most dramatic monument in Jordan: the Treasury. Visit the theatre, the tombs and the colonnaded street. Enjoy an open buffet lunch and go shopping at the Bedouin bazaars. Drive to Aqaba (optional) for a city tour before crossing the border back into Israel.
