Arrive at Paris airport where you will be met by an English speaking representative and transferred to the city center for an introduction tour of Paris. Discover the Place de la Concorde, the famous Champs-Elysées avenue, the Arc de Triomphe. Visit the 3rd floor of the Eiffel Tower offering a breathtaking view over Paris. Drive through the Invalides and the Tuileries gardens. Transfer to your hotel and check-in. Balance of the day at leisure.
In the afternoon, visit the Notre Dame Cathedral. In addition to the great architecture of the church, the Cathedral of Notre-Dame enshrines the holy relic, the Crown of Thorns. In 1806 the Crown was deposited in the Cathedral. 1896 a magnificent new reliquary of rock crystal was made for it. The Crown of Thorns was gift of the Latin Emperor of Constantinople to Louis, King of France in 1238. The Crown now consists of circlets of rushes with no sign of thorns. The thorns were broken off and given out as gifts. Overnight.
In the morning, transfer to the railway station to board the TGV train to Lourdes, the premium pilgrimage city in France. Lourdes receives 5 million visitors from all over the world every year. Arrive in the afternoon. You will be met at the platform and if time permits, taken on an introduction tour to the Sanctuaries. Check-in at your hotel and overnight.
Morning walking tour of the holy sites: The Massabielle Grotto of the apparitions of the Virgin Mary to Bernadette Soubirous, the water spring and the sanctuaries. View a video featuring the history of Lourdes. Lunch on your own. Balance of the day at leisure. Overnight.
This morning enjoy a guided excursion to the Betharram Grottos which are considered some of the most beautiful and interesting grottos in the world due to the large variety of formations. Cross 5 separate stories superimposed like those of a house, each formed during different eras. Return to Lourdes for lunch at the hotel on your own. Afternoon excursion to Gavarnie, the most beautiful and famous highlight of the Pyrénées and a Unesco World Heritage Site. Return to Lourdes. Overnight.

Located in a high alpine pasture in the French Alps, La Salette is the site where the Virgin Mary appeared in 1846 to two shepherds, Melanie Matthew and Maximin Gird. A spring forever marks the spot where the Virgin appeared and where millions of pilgrims come to in order to drink the fresh spring water and to pray. The stunning mountain scenery and lush mountain trails make La Salette one of the most spectacular pilgrimage sites in France, with a beautiful Basilica built to honor the Virgin Mary.
Chapel of the Visitation. This was where Jesus exposed His Sacred Heart to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque. The Reliquary of St. Margaret contains her relics, located underneath a wax figure of the saint.
Lisieux is home of St Therese of the Child Jesus whom Pope Pius X called "the greatest saint of modern times." Les Buissonets, her family home. On display are relics, clothing, and personal objects.
