Overview: The museum embankment is located on the southern bank of the river Main in Sachsenhausen, between the Eiserner Steg footbridge and the Peace Bridge. One of Frankfurt's main cultural attractions, it has 13 leading museums and is a popular destination for museum-goers from Germany and across Europe.

Overview: Romantic Heidelberg, one of Germany's most beautiful cities is on the River Neckar. Visit the famous castle, showpiece of German Romanticism, a complex of partially destroyed buildings in Gothic and Renaissance styles surrounded by beautiful gardens and containing the world's largest wine barrel. See the medieval town centre with the mighty Old Bridge and Germany's oldest University, the church of the Holy Spirit and the Knights House with its precious renaissance facade.
