German Highlights - 6 Days

Day 1: Munich – Hop on Hop off Tour

Arrive in Munich and transfer to your hotel. Later, take the Hop-On-Hop-Off tour and see the highlights which include the Pinakotheken Art Museums and the National Theater with the Royal Palace. You will also pass by the world famous Hofbraeuhaus and the colorful open air market (Viktualienmarkt) in the old part of town. Overnight.

Day 2: Munich – Stuttgart – Walking Tour

After breakfast, take a 2hr 30 minute train ride to Stuttgart situated in the heart of one of Germany's largest wine growing regions. Enjoy an informative guided walking tour through the palace garden and the historical city centre. Learn about the history of Stuttgart's palaces, soak in the atmosphere on Schlossplatz square or marvel at the glass exterior of the Museum of Art. The walk finishes in the city centre. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight.

Day 3 : Stuttgart – Optional Tours

Breakfast. Today you can visit museums of Mercedes Benz & Porsche which showcase the history of the brands, their products & their prototypes for the future.

Or, visit the Europa-Park in Rust 2 hrs away, which is the largest & most visited theme park in Germany with more than 120 attractions - a perfect outing for the whole family.

Or visit the medieval attractions in Stuttgart, like the Old Palace, the beautiful art nouveau market hall & the Bauhaus style Weissenhof housing estate. Overnight.

Day 4 : Stuttgart - Baden - Baden

After breakfast, take a train to Baden-Baden (1hr.30 mins.), at the foot of the Black Forest. Baden-Baden is famous for its spas and is known as the Grand Dame of German spas. This city, sophisticated yet relaxed, offers townscape of palatial villas, stately hotels, tree lined avenues, groomed parks and chic boutiques. Enjoy the day at leisure, visit the various Spas. Overnight.

Day 5 : Baden - Baden

Breakfast. Spend the day exploring the city on your own. You can visit the Baden-Baden Museum and learn about the history of the spa town from Roman times to the 19th century when Baden-Baden became world renowned as a health and gambling resort. The museum also has collections of historical toys, unusual coins and special medals. There is also a Brahms' House, where the famous composer spent the summer months between the years of 1865 to 1874. Visit the Lichtenthal Abbey. Overnight.

Day 6 : Baden - Baden

After breakfast, check out of your hotel.
