Breakfast. Board the Glacier Express on one of the greatest train journeys in the world and travel from St. Moritz to Zermatt. An 8-hour railway journey across 291 bridges, through 91 tunnels and across the Oberalp Pass at 2033m. Travel in comfort through the un-spoilt natural beauty of a landscape rich in ancient fragrant mountain forests, peaceful Alpine meadows, rushing mountain streams and mountain valleys, soaked in tradition and centuries-old culture.
The location of Zermatt at the foot of the Matterhorn and in the middle of an enormous hiking and ski region makes it one of the world's most attractive vacation villages. The ski region encompasses 54 mountain railways and lifts as well as 360 kilometers of pistes. The region called "Matterhorn glacier paradise" is Europe's largest and highest lying summer skiing region.

Day 3: Zermatt

Breakfast. Enjoy a day at leisure in Zermatt. Return to Swiss border or airport or individual onward journey.
