Jasper City tour with Maligne Lake Cruise

Duration: 6 Hours
Overview: Begin with a short tour of the town before heading across the Athabasca River to Maligne Canyon. Take a stroll beside the narrow limestone gorge and traverse the two bridges over the Canyon for views of water falls below. Next, the Colin and Queen Elizabeth Ranges make the Medicine Lake viewpoint extraordinary.

At Maligne Lake a 1.5 hour guided cruise provides unobstructed views of magnificent shoreline with dense forests and glacial peaks that rise abruptly from the water's edge. Near Spirit Island, go ashore and create your own photographs of this world famous spot. On your return trip to Jasper be sure to watch for bears, deer, wolves, coyotes, moose, and eagles.

This tour is seasonal and only operates from June through to September.

Columbia Icefields Tour

Duration: 5 Hours 30 Minutes
Overview: On this guided tour you will stop at Athabasca & Sunwapta Falls and other viewpoints along the way. Arrive at the Icefields, and wander around the Athabasca Glacier area. See wildlife including bears, bighorn sheep, moose and mountain goats if you are lucky!

White Water Rafting on Jasper's Frazer River

Duration: 5 Hours
Overview: From your launching point in the shadow of Mt Robson, take off down the Fraser River, which serves up great rapids and swirling eddies bound to soak everyone on your raft! After a short portage (carrying your raft over land to avoid dangerous obstacles) around thundering Rearguard Falls, continue down the river, splashing through large rapids dwarfed by the steep canyon walls. This trip provides great opportunities to spot wildlife and seasonal spawning salmon.

Rapids are classed from 1 to 6, 6 being the most difficult. This tour takes you down Class-3 rapids, which are considered intermediate. Rafters must be 12 years of age or older and weight at least 90 lbs (41 kgs).

Athabasca River Raft Tour with Transportation

Duration: 2 Hours 45 Minutes
Overview: The Athabasca River, a designated Canadian Heritage River, is the same route that was used by the fur traders many years ago. Your outdoor nature experience / raft trip passes through many small sets of rapids and calm stretches, which allows your National Park Licensed guide to point out the natural and human history of Jasper. Our specially designed rafts offer a safe, comfortable ride that any first time rafter will enjoy. This trip is for everyone from toddlers to seniors.

Jasper to Banff Tour

Duration: 8 Hours
Overview: The entire day is spent in the majesty of Canada's two most famous National Parks, Jasper and Banff. Travel with your guide along the world-famous Icefields Parkway. Sightseeing stops will be made at Lake Louise, Crowfoot Glacier, Bow Lake, Peyto Lake, the Weeping Wall, the Athabasca Glacier and the Columbia Icefield. A stop is made at the Columbia Icefield chalet to view the Athabasca Glacier. This tour ends in Banff.

Jasper Tramway at Whistler's Mountain

Duration: 3 Hours
Overview: Daily shuttle service to "Jasper's Peak Attraction" is provided to you. Your shuttle ticket and voucher includes admittance to the Tramway. This is the longest and highest aerial tramway in the Rockies and the ride up to the summit is breathtaking. Once at the upper terminal take in the incredible panoramic views of Jasper National Park or enjoy a short hike on one of the alpine trails.

Ride the Steel Rails

Duration: 5 Hours
Overview: Ride the rails over the Yellowhead Pass, the border between Alberta and British Columbia, following the Fraser River, and past Mount Robson, the highest mountain in the Canadian Rockies. The van tour includes stops for wildlife, points of interest including the Mt. Robson Information Centre. Depending on the time of year, this can be an excellent tour for seeing bear, moose, eagles, salmon, deer, elk and coyotes. The train trip portion is approximately 2.5 hours and the return to Jasper by van is 138 km with stops for wildlife and points of interest. Generally the van takes about 2 hours to return to Jasper.

Maligne Valley and Boat Cruise

Duration: 3 Hours
Overview: This morning embark on a tour of one of the most spectacular areas of Jasper National Park. Your first stop is at Maligne Canyon where 10,000 years of erosion have created a 165-foot deep gorge. Set off on a short guided walk to marvel at the Maligne River as it thunders through the canyon in a series of waterfalls. From the canyon we continue to the 'mysteriously' disappearing Medicine Lake and then to Maligne Lake for a 90-minute interpretative boat cruise bound for the world renowned, Spirit Island.

Duration: 5 Hours
Overview: This morning tour of one of the most spectacular areas of Jasper National Park. The first stop will be at Maligne Canyon where 10,000 years of erosion have created a 165-foot deep gorge. Set off on a short guided walk to marvel at the Maligne River as it thunders through the canyon in a series of waterfalls. Continue to the 'mysteriously' disappearing Medicine Lake and then to Maligne Lake for a guided 75-minute walk along the shoreline trail of Maligne Lake.
