Al Rahma Mosque Jeddah

Overview: Situated on the Red Sea's north coast, Al Rahma Mosque is a must-visit attraction in Jeddah for its impressive architecture and stunning location. It has 52 outer domes in addition to the main dome and is 2,400 square meters in size. Surrounded by water, it appears to float during high tide, earning it the nickname Floating Mosque. It has a solid foundation and several columns above water.

This mosque combines traditional Islamic art, architecture, and state-of-the-art technology. Its interior is equally impressive, with modern twists on classical Andalusian patterns and a pretty dome atop a stained-glass ring.

King Fahd’s Fountain

Overview: The fountain was donated to the city of Jeddah by King Fahd and hence the name. It is a Guiness Book of World Records holder as the largest fountain in the world and is visible throughout the vicinity of Jeddah. The fountain is of significance in the Arabic world as it is built in the shape of a makhbara or an incense burner which holds special importance in the religious world of Islam. The fountain is lit by 500 high light LEDs.

Jeddah Lighthouse

Overview: Jeddah Light House is the world's tallest light tower at the height of 133 m (431 ft). Serving as an observation tower, a port control tower, and an active lighthouse, it is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Jeddah City. Its white cylindrical structure, featuring a spheric observation building with a balcony on the top, is a sight to behold.
