Dingle and Slea Head Tour

Duration: 7 hours
Overview: Leaving Killarney, drive through Milltown and then on to Castlemaine where to the north lies the Slieve Mish range of mountains. Move on to Inch, famous for its wonderful beach and where there are fantastic views of MacGillycuddy's Reeks and the Ring of Kerry mountains across Dingle Bay. Continue along the coastline to Slea Head, the most western point in Europe where you can see the three Blasket Islands. This area was immortalized in the film "Ryan's daughter". It is a place rich in tradition, literature and culture.

Gap of Dunloe Tour

Duration: 7 hours
Overview: From Killarney, travel over the Aghadoe Heights with its panoramic views of the Lakes of Killarney and on to Kate Kearney's Cottage. Travel through the mountain pass (The Gap of Dunloe) a distance of 6 miles (10 km). Hire a pony and trap, or ponies, to make the journey through the Gap. Take a break for lunch at Lord Brandon's cottage near the Gearhameen River. Cross the lakes by boat to historic Ross Castle where you will be met and taken for a tour of the castle. Return to Killarney.

Overview: Enjoy this afternoon tour to some of Killarney's best known places: Muckross House, Ross Castle, Torc Waterfall, the Gap of Dunloe, Ruins of Aghadoe and the upper and middle lakes. If your stay in Killarney is short, this tour is a must so you see as much as possible.

Ring of Kerry

Overview: The tour leaves Killarney for Killorglin via the banks of the river Laune. Killorglin is famous for its ceremonious Puck Fair. Get your first view of the Atlantic at Rossbeigh. On to Cahirciveen to see Valentia Island. Waterville is next, then along the coast via Coomakista Pass and Derrynane, the home of Daniel O'Connell "The Liberator". From Sneem it's up the mountain to Moll's Gap and then down to Ladies View and home by the Lakes of Killarney. To describe this tour in detail is an impossible task as this is an experience you must 'see and feel'. The tour will stop at many points of interest and ample time is allowed for lunch (not included).
