Duration: 8 Hours Overview: After your hotel pick up, visit the Sun Yat-Sen Mausoleum built in memory of China's great revolutionary forerunner, Dr. Sun Yat-sen on Zhongshan Hill. Head to the famous Nanking Yangtse River Bridge the pride of Chinese because it was the first double deck and double track highway and railway bridge designed and constructed by their countrymen. Visit the provincial museum housing a collection of over 420,000 pieces. Visit the tour highlight -the Confucius Temple (Fuzi Miao) the holy shrine of Confucius, the outstanding ancient Chinese philosopher and thinker. Taste the local specialties at the bazaar nearby.
Duration: 7 Hours Overview: Visit 600 years old Zhanyuan Garden which was the Ming Prince's residence in Nanjing. The size of Zhanyuan is 20,000 sqm with more than 20 exquisite scenic spots. Visit the Confucius Temple (Fuzi Miao), to understand traditional Chinese culture and enjoy shopping. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the Gan's Residence which covers 21,000 sqm. It was the largest and best-preserved private residence in Nanjing during the Qing Dynasty.
Duration: 4 Hours Overview: Your first stop is Zhonghua City Gate which is the best preserved and the most complex structure of an ancient castle in the world. The gate is 118.5 meters wide from east to west and 128 meters from north to south. It covers 15,000 square meters. Drive to Confucius Temple area and visit Temple also to sample local products and enjoy a spot of shopping.
Duration: 7 Hours Overview: Visit the 600 year old Ming Tomb, the burial place for Zhu Yuanzhang, the first emperor of the Ming Dynasty. It is one of the largest ancient mausoleums of emperors in China. Zhu Yuanzhang started building his tomb in 1381 when his wife Empress Ma died. And was buried in the tomb in 1383. Zhu Yuanzhang died in 1398 and was buried here in the same year. The construction of the mausoleum ended in 1413. Visit the Linggu Temple claimed to be "the best Buddhist temple in the world" surrounded by thick forest and beautiful flowers. It was built in the Liang Dynasty (502-557). After lunch at a local restaurant, continue to Zhonghua City and Gongyuan. Zhonghua City Gate is the best preserved and the most complex structure of an ancient castle in the world. The gate is 118.5 meters wide from east to west and 128 meters from north to south. It covers 15,000 square meters. Transfer back to your hotel.
