Arrive at Gardermoen Airport where you will be met and transferred to your Hotelin the heart of Oslo. If you arrive early, join one of the guided bus tours, which will take you to many of Oslo's greatest highlights, including the Holmenkollen Ski Jump and Ski Museum, the Viking Ship Museum, the Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Royal Palace, the Polar ship "Fram," Akershus Fortress and central Oslo.
In the afternoon, try out the ice-skating in the city center and enjoy one of Oslo's best gourmet restaurants. Stay at the Bristol Hotel or similar in central Oslo.
After breakfast, the driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Gardermoen Airport for your flight to Alta Airport, one of the world's northernmost airports. You'll be picked up at Alta Airport and taken to Alta Igloo Hotel, where you will spend the night. Alta Igloo Hotel is Norway's largest and the world's northernmost ice hotel.
The hotel is in the Alta Friluftspark, approximately 15 km from the center of Alta. The entire hotel, exterior and interior, is made of snow and ice: the rooms, the beds, even the glasses in the bar. The hotel consists of 80 beds and houses suites, an ice gallery, ice-bar, ice chapel and several lounges. Enjoy the amazing surroundings, decorated with ice-sculptures and exquisite works of art in pure white snow creating a fairytale atmosphere.
Enjoy the morning at leisure. At 14:20, you'll be transferred by bus from Alta to Honningsvåg, arriving at 18:15. On the way you will enjoy true winter scenery with its frozen landscape. Stay at Rica Hotel in Honningsvåg.
This morning, you'll be picked up at 11:45 for a visit to the world-famous North Cape (Nordkapp) at the latitude of 71° north. At the North Cape, enjoy a glass of champagne and receive a certificate of your visit to the Cape. See the visitor facilities and enjoy the artwork in the area. At around 14:00, you will be transferred back to Honningsvåg, where you will have the rest of the afternoon to relax. Overnight.
