Overview: There are only a few places in Denmark where you can experience a medieval town centre with timber framed grade II listed houses, cobble stone streets with the Cathedral as the crucial centre point. Founded around the year 700, Ribe was a Viking trading place, today visitors experience the special atmosphere of the town's historic streets. Ribe is a popular place for weekend stays as well as longer holidays. Visitors can spend several days at the town museums alone!
