City Tour of Penang

Duration: 4 hours
Overview: George Town, the capital city of Penang was named after King George III of England, is an interesting land of the old and new. It is worth to note that Penang has one of the largest Colonial Buildings in Southeast Asia. The tour includes a stop at Fort Cornwallis, built in 1808. Fort Cornwallis also marks the spot where Sir Francis Light first landed on this island. Followed by a visit to the State Museum, built in 1821, which houses a fine collection of old photographs, maps, charts and pass by the colourful Little India and bustling Chinatown. Next stop, The World's Fourth Largest Reclining Buddha statue at Wat Chayamangkalaram.

Botanical garden and Butterfly Farm

Duration: 4 hours
Overview: Visit the butterfly farm in Teluk Bahang, a sanctuary for over 120 species of rare and exotic tropical butterflies. The farm is complete with a hatchery and a "Preserved Butterflies of the World" museum. Next, visit the century old, 72 acre, Penang Botanical Garden located at the foot of Penang Hill. Stroll through the main gardens, learn about the rare species of flora AND fauna while monkey roam free in their natural habitats.

Georgetown Heritage

Duration: 4 hours
Overview: Explore the street of George Town and its rich heritage. Admire the intricate carving woodwork and porcelain decor of Khoo Kongsi, established in 1835. After that, visit Yap Kongsi and Ciji Temple, a clan association built in 1924. Also you will be taken to Hock Teik Cheng Sin Temple, which is the Tua Pek Kong, temple and Hokkien secret society headquarters in the mid-19th century. After that, proceed to visit Cheah Kongsi which was founded in 1820 and built in 1858. Last but not least, continue to visit the world renowned Pinang Peranakan Mansion. Baba & Nyonyas was a prominent community of acculturated Chinese unique to this part of the world, which houses over 1,000 pieces of antique and collectible items of the era on display.

Heritage Trishaw Trail

Duration: 4 hours
Overview: Take a leisure ride on the enchanting Beca, also called the Trishaw or Jinrickisha. it has become a favourite place for tourist as well as locals who love to take a ride around Penang's charming tourist spots. We have 2 different optional routes that you can choose for your trishaw ride itinerary. Route One : Town Hall, Fort Cornwallis, Beach Street, Market Street, Little India, Goddess of Mercy Temple, Christian Cemetery, Eastern and Oriental Hotel, City Hall. Route Two : Fort Cornwallis, Tanjung City Marina, Clan Jetty, Khoo Kongsi, Acheh Street, Islamic Museum, Yap Kongsi Temple, Kapitan Keling Mosque, Goddess of Mercy Temple, Penang State Museum, Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion.

Round Island Tour

Duration: 4 hours
Overview: This tour takes you to the outskirts of George Town, screening the vibrant authentic fishing and Malay villages along the coast. From here we will then pass the Fruit Plantation, a brief stop at a Fruit Stall to show you some of the spices as well as some of the local fruits available in season. We then proceed on to the famous Snake Temple built in 1820, it is probably the one and only of its kind in the world. Next stop, proceed to the well known OE (Oeding & Erdel) factory. You will be taken on a tour to see how jewelleries are created by master craft men. Last but not least, shopping at Straits Quay, the Penang first and only seafront retail marina. From there, you may find Royal Selangor, the oldest pewter maker since 1885.

Hill and Temple Tour

Overview: Visit Kek Lok Si - the largest Buddhist Taoist monastery and temple complex in Malaysia, with its imposing 10,000 Buddhas Pagoda and the tortoise Pond of Longevity. Then, ascend 830 metres up Penang Hill by Swiss funicular railway, passing through hill farms and lush tropical jungles for a panoramic view of the island and mainland. Visit Thean Ean local products centre where you might want to pick up some local spices and confectionaries.
