Overview: This archaelogical area is located 34 km North of Puno city. Visit the magical tombs called Chullpas, which are big burial monuments, built in tower forms by the Collas Indians, a tribe that dominated the Titicaca region before the Incas. Sillustani is on a peninsula in the beautiful Umayo Lagoon.

Overview: The Islands of the Uros are in the east of Puno. They are made of 'totora' reeds, rising six meters above water level and are anchored by logs and connected to each other by ropes. The community here keeps ancient fishing and handicraft traditions alive. Continue to Taquile Island to see the spectacular views from its hills. It is a first rate textile centre. The locals are involved in textile activities. This is an ancient civilization that continues living by the traditions and laws of the Incas.

Duration: 12 Hours
Overview: Depart from your Puno hotel and cross the border into Copacabana, Bolivia. See Copacabana's main square before heading towards the marina to board the impressive catamaran and depart. On board amenities include an outdoor deck, a fully stocked bar, panoramic windows and a TV lounge. Lake Titicaca is the world's highest navigable lake and stands at an impressive 12,500 ft above sea level. According to legend, it was on this lake that the Sun God commanded his children, Mama Ocllo and Manco Cápac, to create the Inca civilization.
Cruise across Lake Titicaca and dock at Sun Island (Isla del Sol) to explore its pre-Columbian remains. The Inti Wata complex boasts a fascinating underground museum site, agricultural terraces, Inca remains and various species of flora and fauna. Enjoy free time here. On your way back to Copacabana, enjoy a delicious lunch aboard the catamaran before returning to your Puno hotel.
