The Agrodome complex is surrounded by a 150 hectare working farm providing enrichment. This ticket includes the Sheep Show, the premier attraction with one hour of live entertainment with a sheep shearing demonstration, an exciting sheep auction with audience participation, a demonstration by Huntaway dogs, plus the famous "Duck" dog. Enjoy a farm tour in custom built tractor drawn vehicles and see animals including 1200 Romney sheep, beef cattle, red and fallow deer, llamas, alpacas, ostrich and emus. Overview: From Rotorua drive by coach across the scenic Mamaku Ranges and through the native Fitzgerald Glade before arriving in the Waikato region and the rolling hills of "THE SHIRE". This area was chosen for The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings is readily apparent as you arrive at The Shires Rest Cafe and commence your tour of The Hobbiton Movie Set, recreated for the filming of the Hobbit. Your tour guide will escort you through the ten acre site recounting details on how the set was created. Visit The Woolshed, see a sheep shearing demonstration and try to bottle feed the pet lambs. Before returning to Rotorua, a light snack will be provided.

Overview: Transfer from your hotel to the Realm of Tane. Head 20 minutes out of Rotorua to Pre-European Tamaki Maori Village. Observe the people of the land demonstrating their skills at carving and weaving, thatching of huts, food preparation, hunting and cooking. Tamaki Cultural Group will give a powerful performance of Waiata, Haka, song and dance. The traditional buffet hangi meal has been under the earth on hot rocks for three to four hours. Enjoy the Tribal Market Place, with its treasures and other items of significance to Maori, like bone carvings and jewellery. The evening ends with the official closing ceremony, song and speeches. Your guide will escort you out to your coach for your return to your Rotorua hotel.

Overview: Depart Rotorua and travel into the Fitzgerald Glade. After a short tea break at Lake Karapiro (at your own expense) drive along the Waikato River to the famous Waitomo Glow-Worm Caves. Enjoy lunch in the natural setting outside the Caves and begin your guided tour through the caves to view Stalactites formed over thousands of years ago by the constant dripping of water. End with a boat ride through the glow-worm grotto illuminated by thousands of tiny lights emitted by the glow-worms, suspended from the cave ceiling. Enjoy a refreshment break (at own expense) in the historic township of Rangiriri. Finally travel through the rich farmland of the Waikato region and into Auckland.
