Your Gold Rush experience begins with an all-you-can-eat alfresco feast in the forest, including wild, Alaskan-caught salmon freshly grilled over an alder-wood fire. Then mosey on over to the Gold Rush-era trail camp to see a picturesque waterfall and authentic exhibits of Liarsville's past. Then head to the Hippodrome, where a cast of 'sourdoughs' and 'dance hall girls' will entertain you with a hilarious melodrama and a poem. Next, learn the art of gold panning and pan on your own. You are guaranteed to find that precious metal! Enjoy free time to wander through the camp and visit the Fancy Goods souvenir store, the historic bordello and the laundry tents; have your picture taken with one of the dance hall girls or the camp's popular mascot, an Alaskan malamute (a type of dog) named Denali.
