The bar has a constant temperature of -5°C (23°F) and your entry fee includes a drink and a 45-minute visit. Borrow an ice cape and a pair of gloves to keep yourself warm and to protect the ice from body heat. Enjoy this slice of northern Sweden’s polar magic - a totally unique experience.
In the evening, take the overnight train to the Swedish Lapland across the Arctic.
Day 5: Kiruna - City Tour
Breakfast. Welcome to the Arctic capital city of Swedish Lapland, Kiruna! After the hotel check in, enjoy a City Tour. Three cultures meet at exciting Kiruna - the Sami, the Swedish and the Finnish, all of which have been key in the development of the mining community. Begin the tour from a historical and holistic perspective, as far back in time as 400 million years ago when the American continent collided with the European continent. If the weather is clear, see the mountain range that was formed in connection with the collision. Continue with a few more stops through the old city center where the city’s transformation is in full swing.
Day 6: Kiruna - Midnight Sun Tour
Breakfast. Day at leisure. In the evening, enjoya night tour to Abisko to experience the midnight light, and when it is possible, the midnight sun. Drive by car for 1.5 hours to Abisko National Park and walk in the park or go up with the chairlift and go for a walk on Mount Nuolja whilst your local guide talks about nature, Sami culture and stories from the area.
Enjoy the magical evening light with a cup of tea and cake. In the stunning landscape, wait for midnight to get a chance to experience the midnight sun or the genuine midnight summer light in the north. After midnight head back to your car and drive back to Kiruna.
Day 7: Kiruna - Wilderness ATV Tour
Breakfast. Enjoy a Quad bike tour, commonly known as ATV (all-terrain vehicle) tour, which offer bikers a great chance to discover unexplored lands and scenic landscapes. The guide will tell you about the culture, wildlife and nature in the area.
Day 8: Kiruna - Gothenburg
