Overview: Ushuaia is the southernmost city in the world located at the foot of Martial Mountain Range. It lies besides the bay from which it receives its name and faces the Navarino and Hoste Islands. See the old area of the town, the port, the hilly streets and finish the tour at the Museum of the End of the World located in one of the oldest buildings of the city. Learn about the Island's history and its legends about pirates, adventurers and Indians.

Beagle Channel Sailing Tour: Island, Penguins and Estancia Harberton

Overview: Spend a day outside of Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, discovering the natural wonders of the Tierra del Fuego province. Learn about the culture and history of the region. Go island-hopping on a catamaran through the famous Beagle Channel and marvel at the stunning flora and fauna, including penguins and sea lions. Then visit Estancia Harberton, the oldest ranch in the Argentinean Tierra del Fuego.

Lake Fagnano and Lake Escondido Tour

Duration: 8 Hours
Overview: Travel through the peat bog-covered valleys of the southernmost stretches of the Fuegian Andes. Explore this Patagonian region of the Carbajal, Huskies, Tierra Mayor and Las Cotorras valleys, all popular cross-country skiing destinations. Cross the sharply rising Andes at Garibaldi Pass (1,476 ft/450 m), host to spectacular views of the lakes Escondido and Fagnano. Visit the now defunct Martinez sawmill along Lake Fagnano for a glimpse into local history. Stop in Las Cotorras Valley for a traditional Fuegian lamb barbecue (not included).

Tierra del Fuego National Park: Lapataia

Duration: 4 Hours
Overview: The 63,000 hectare park is 12 km from Ushuaia. it contains many species of trees, bushes and flowers such as orchids, violets and more. See the peat bogs and the beaver dams before arriving at Lapataia River. Cross the river for a lovely view of Laguna Verde and the upland geese and ibis that come here every summer. In Lapataia Bay, see the archeological area where the old inhabitants of the Island left their testimony: the Yamana kitchen. Before returning to Ushuaia, stop at of Lago Roca, whose color varies according to the weather.
