Vietnam and Cambodia Tour – 8 days

Day 1: Hanoi

Upon your arrival at Hanoi, our representative will welcome and transfer you at the hotel of your choice. Check in and freshen up. In the afternoon our tour starts with One pillar pagoda then to Temple of Literature, which is well known as the first university of Vietnam. Then visit the peaceful lake of Hoan Kiem, take an hour cyclo around Hanoi old quarter. Overnight.

Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay

Breakfast. We shall begin our day by taking a 3 hour scenic drive from Hanoi to Halong Bay. In the afternoon we shall arrive at the Tuan Chau Tourist Wharf. Transfer to Halong Emotion Boat by tender. Enjoy welcome drink on the boat and check in to your private cabin. Join on board for lunch while cruising to some magnificent Halong bay scenes.

Enroute visit Titop Island where you take your time on swim, sunbath, trekking....then we shall arrive at Pearl Farm Village. Visit around and swim, kayak at the bay.

Return back to the cruise ship and join cooking class to have experience in some traditional dishes. Tea time on sundeck. End your day with dinner and evening entertainments, you can choose from many options available like the bar, spa, squid fishing and overnight on the cruise.

Day 3: Halong Bay - Hanoi

Begin your morning by practicing Tai Chi on the Sundeck, followed by a light breakfast. During breakfast, you will cruise to explore other part of Halong Bay, admire the beauty of one in seven new wonder in the world. We shall stop by the Surprise cave, explore the Cave, one of the most beautiful caves in Ha Long bay. Return back to your cruise ship. Enjoy your drink and sunbath on the half open air sundeck of the Gray line. Enjoy a tasty lunch on board as the boat cruises back. Time for us to say good bye to the crew. Enjoy tea or other drinks as we wait for the shuttle bus to return back to Hanoi. Overnight.

Day 4: Hanoi – Saigon

Breakfast. Check out and transfer for your flight to Saigon. On arrival into Saigon you will be greeted by your guide upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport. Check in to the hotel of your choice. Rest of the evening is at leisure. Overnight.

Day 5: Cu Chi Tunnels and Saigon Half Day City Tour

Breakfast. Cu Chi Tunnels is now a popular spot for both Vietnamese & foreign tourists - the network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens. Before entering the tunnels visitors can watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed. You will spend the next hour exploring the tunnels. Afterwards, enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla's food during the war). We shall return back to city in the afternoon and shall stop for lunch on your own.

In the afternoon we shall proceed for the half day city tour of Saigon. You will begin your urban experience in bustling Saigon, the country's commercial center and home to a growing number of upscale shops. Visit the Reunification Palace, the Opera House and the Hotel de Ville, Notre Dame Cathedral and the War Remnants Museum. Then visit Ben Thanh market before ending this day. Overnight.

Day 6: Saigon – Siem Reap

Breakfast. Morning at leisure till and then transfer to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap.

On arrival at Siem Reap you will meet your guide and transfer back to hotel for check in. Transfer via Tonle Sap Lake, where we will have the opportunity to learn about life on the lake. On the way, we will pass floating houses and impressive flooded forests, portraying life on the water. Return back in town, we will go to visit Artisans d'Angkor. In there, we can take a tour through the workshops and watch students as they learn how to create silk fabrics and garments, stone and wood carving, lacquer ware, polychrome products, silver plating and silk paintings. Check in and rest of the evening is at leisure. Overnight.

Day 7: Angkor Thom & Angkor Wat (B)

Breakfast. We begin out tour by visiting the West Gate of Angkor Thom – undiscovered by mass of tourists. Also see the South Gate, Bayon Temple – unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara. See the old palace as Phimeanakas temple in huge complex that was used by kings in the past. The Elephant terrace platform from where the king and officers view shows and meet people. Visit the Preah Palilay which is older than Angkor Thom, deeply in the forest and on way back see the monks sprinkle water on people.

Visit Ta Prohm, of the "Tomb Raider" fame. Ta Prohm has been abandoned to the elements, a reminder that while empires rise and fall, the riotous power of nature marches on, oblivious to the dramas of human history.

We continue to the famous temple: Angkor Wat a World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology. Enjoy walking at busy pub street where you can find many bars for cool drink or shopping at Angkor Night Market. Overnight.

Day 8: Siem Reap

Breakfast. Check out and be ready to transfer to Siem Reap airport for your departure with fond memories.
