Arrive Jabalpur airport and you will be met by our representative who will assist you to board your vehicle for onward drive to Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve – Once the hunting reserve of the royal family of Rewa and today one of the most famous tigers reserves in the world, covering 168 sq. miles (437 sq. km) of bamboo, grassland and deciduous forests in the Vindhya Hills of Madhya Pradesh, this reserve is where the white tigers were discovered. Check into your lodge and relax in this wonderful wildlife sanctuary.

Dinner and overnight stay at Bandhavgarh.

Today is devoted to the birds and wildlife of Bandhavgarh National Park. Early morning, you will be picked up from your lodge for an exciting Game drive with an open jeep on seat sharing basis. Jeep Safaris in Bandhavgarh National Park are an adrenaline pumping experience that entail tracking the king of the forest and the other jungle denizens. An experienced naturalist accompanies to help you understand the forest landscape and its many inhabitants. Our naturalist ensures a befitting safari experience in the depths of the forest with not just sightings of wildlife, but also stories from the jungle. The park is one of the most beautiful in India and boasts of the highest concentration of tiger in the World. but be aware that it is extremely difficult to find tigers in the jungle and sightings are never guaranteed.

In the afternoon return to the park for another jeep safari before dinner. There are many bird species as well as mammals such as sloth bears, langur monkeys, wild boars, wild dogs, mongoose and three types of deer – chital, sambar and barking. After safari return to the lodge

Early today proceed for another round of game drive into the National Park.

After breakfast check out from the lodge and transfer to Kanha Tiger Reserve – one of the largest and most scenic national parks in India and an ideal habitat for tigers and their prey. Five times the size of Bandhavgarh, Kanha’s mixed forests are interspersed with vast meadows known as maidans. Perennial streams run through these, providing a source of water for wildlife even in the hot summer months. As a result, hundreds of chital deer graze on carpets of green grass, against a backdrop of majestic sal tree forests. On arrival check into your lodge in this premier wildlife sanctuary. Lunch & Dinner at the hotel.

Overnight stay at hotel in Kanha

Early morning Forest jeep will pick you from the lodge for Jungle safari into the national park with wildlife trained naturalist. 04 WD Open Jeep safaris are the best way to observe wildlife at the thick & lush green forest of Kanha National Park. Kanha best known for its evergreen Sal forests, is home to about 300 species of Birds, 43 species of Mammals, 26 species of Reptiles and more than 500 species of Insects. The Major species found are hard ground Barasingha, Tiger, Leopard, Dhole, Bear, Gaur and Indian Python etc. Kanha’s greatest achievement has been the preservation of Hard Ground Swamp Deer or Barasingha, from near extinction. In the afternoon return to the park for another Game drive. Late evening return to the hotel and relax.

Early today proceed for another round of Game drive into the National Park. Early morning is the best time to draw lesser mammals and rare species of birds. Post safari return to the Lodge for breakfast & lunch.

Afternoon take a visit to tribal market or haat (as it is locally called) is a perfect way to soak in the local flavours. Bustling with activity and bursting with a riot of colours, these bazaars showcase a fascinating array of products. These may include local artefacts, pottery, tribal jewellery, fresh organic greens or the catch of the day.

Later visit to the adjoining Gond tribal villages, it can be a fascinating experience. The mud settlements are adorned with tribal paintings and are every photographer’s delight. Take a step back in time, where hunter-gatherer communities lived in harmony with nature. You can experience the rustic flavours of countryside life. A chat with the locals can give you deep insights into their lives and livelihood. Evening return to the lodge.

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning transfer 4-hours to Jabalpur Airport for your flight to Delhi.
