Best of Germany – 11 Days
Day 1: Frankfurt

Arrive at Frankfurt Airport/Station, transfer to your hotel by sedan car and check-in. Use your Frankfurt Card for 2 Days Hop on Hop Off Skyline or the Express City Tour. Enjoy free public transportation and discounts at museums, city tours, restaurants, and other attractions!

Day 2: Frankfurt - Half Day Heidelberg Tour

Breakfast. Choose a morning or afternoon departure time, meet your friendly guide in central Frankfurt and board the coach for a drive into the Baden-Württemberg region. Arrive in beautiful Heidelberg, a mosaic of Renaissance buildings and red-hued rooftops set against a backdrop of green hills.

Begin at Heidelberg Castle, strategically perched upon a hilltop offering a beautiful view from its terrace. See the building’s impressive façade. The German Pharmacy Museum at Heidelberg Castle features pharmacies from the 17th – 19th centuries and stores about 1,000 pharmaceuticals. At medieval Altstadt (Old Town), stroll along its cobbled streets viewing landmarks like the Karl Theodor Bridge, the Church of the Holy Spirit, the House of the Knights with its precious Renaissance facade and small lanes with half-timbered houses. Return to your hotel.

Day 3: Frankfurt - Cologne - Hop on Hop off Tour

Breakfast. Check out and transfer to the Frankfurt train station by private vehicle to leave for Cologne. Arrive and transfer to your hotel by private vehicle. Check in and freshen up. In the afternoon proceed for your Cologne Hop on Hop off Tour of approximately 2hrs which allows you to get off at any stops, be it the Carolus Thermen, the Stadtgarten, the Lousberg, or the Lindt chocolate factory. Learn about the sights and history of the imperial spa town. Choose the language you want using the audio guide. Rest of the evening is at leisure.

Day 4: Cologne - Chocolate Museum Tour

Breakfast. Explore the city on your own. The Chocolate Museum is in the Rheinau harbour, directly in front of the old town, near the Cologne Cathedral. The tour (entrance included) of the nine exhibition areas is an unforgettable journey through 4000 square metres of the culture and history of chocolate, from the Maya and the Aztecs, through the Baroque age and industrialization up to the chocolate of today.

Day 5: Cologne - Berlin

Breakfast. Check out and transfer to Cologne train station by private vehicle. Arrive Berlin, transfer to your hotel by private vehicle and check in. The rest of the evening is at leisure.

Day 6: Berlin - Hop on Hop off Tour

After breakfast experience the top attractions of Berlin at your own speed on this 24 or 48-hour, Hopon Hop off tour. You can upgrade your ticket with a cruise along the Spree River. There are several stops along the route.

Day 7: Berlin - Dresden

Breakfast. Check out and transfer to the train station by private vehicle. Arrive Dresden, transfer to your hotel by private vehicle and check in. The rest of the evening is at leisure.

Day 8: Dresden - City Tour

Breakfast. Enjoy a city tour in an original red double-decker bus. Visit the famed Pfunds Molkerei dairy shop and see top sights like the “Blue Wonder” bridge. View the restored Baroque new town and Europe’s largest late 19th century district, the Äußere Neustadt.

Visit the most beautiful dairy in the world, Pfunds Molkerei, and pick up a light refreshment. See the Großen Garten and the villa districts of Blasewitz and Loschwitz in the eastern part of the city. Admire the architecture along the Elbe river like the Albrechtsberg Palace, the cableway, and the funicular. Return to hotel.

Day 9: Dresden - Munich

Breakfast. Check out and transfer to the train station by private vehicle. Arrive Munich, transfer to your hotel by private vehicle and check in. Rest of the evening is at leisure.

Day 10: Munich - Neuschwanstein & Linderhof Castle Full Day Tour

After breakfast, depart by AC coach for the fairy tale castles of Neuschwanstein and Linderhof, created by Germany’s 19th-century King Ludwig II. Admire Bavaria’s magnificent scenery as you journey to Linderhof, Ludwig’s rococo-style hunting lodge and last home. Join an optional interior tour.

Continue to Neuschwanstein, a picture book clutch of turrets and chambers that inspired Disney’s Sleeping Beauty Castle. Enjoy free time in nearby Hohenschwangau village for lunch, explore Neuschwanstein’s grounds, and take an optional castle tour. Entrance fees are not included (unless you choose the Upgrade option). Learn about the’mad’ Ludwig and his desire to create his own fantasy castles. Return to your hotel.
