Day 1: Lucerne

Arrival in Lucerne by train. Time at leisure. Lucerne, the gateway to central Switzerland, located on Lake Lucerne, has an impressive mountainous panorama. Its attractive shopping options, a beautiful lakeside setting and nearby excursion mountains of the Rigi, Pilatus and Stanserhorn, makes the town a popular destination for many.

Day 2: Lucerne - Optional Excursions

Breakfast. Full day at leisure. We suggest the following optional excursions: Mount Titlis with its famous revolving cable-car, Mount Pilatus the Golden Round Trip or Mount Rigi the Queen of the Mountains.

Day 3: Lucerne - Lugano (1h 40)

Breakfast. Train journey from Lucerne to Lugano. Experience the Gotthard Base Tunnel (57 Kms) the longest train tunnel in the world. It takes only 17 minutes to travel this fast flat-track route under the Alpine massif in the heart of Europe. Optional: add the Gotthard Panorama Express. Arrive Lugano. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 4: Bernina Express Lugano – St. Moritz (6h 15)

Breakfast. Today travel on the Bernina Express along the UNESCO World Heritage route. Enjoy an Alpine switchback ride, taking you from the high, towering glaciers down to the swaying palms of Italy. First the Bernina Express coach takes you to Tirano where you will have time for an optional lunch break. Then board the Bernina Express train to St. Moritz.

Day 5: Glacier Express St. Moritz - Zermatt (8h)

Breakfast. Board the Glacier Express for one of the greatest train journeys in the world which takes you across 291 bridges, through 91 tunnels and across the Oberalp Pass at 2033 m. Arrive Zermatt.

Day 6: Zermatt - Matterhorn Glacier Paradise

Breakfast. An incomparable experience awaits you today. The Zermatt Bergbahnen takes you up to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise which is Europe‘s highest cable car station at 3883 m. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 7: Zermatt - Montreux (2h 40)

Breakfast. Today, take a regional train through the Valais, which is well known for its excellent wines, to Montreux. We recommend a visit to Chillon Castle, a moated castle on the shores of Lake Geneva.

Day 8: Montreux - Interlaken (3h 15)

Breakfast. Train journey with the new Golden Pass Express to Interlaken. Optionally, you can also take the Golden-Pass Panoramic or Belle Époque to Zweisimmen and from there regional trains to Interlaken. You find yourself among alpine forests, bubbling mountain springs and picturesque mountain villages. It is possible to stop in Gstaad for an optional excursion to Glacier 3000.

Day 9: Interlaken - Jungfraujoch Top of Europe

Breakfast. Another highlight of your visit in Switzerland awaits you. Enjoy a journey to the Jungfraujoch Top of Europe, the highest railway station in Europe located at 3454 m. Don ‘t miss out the following attractions: Alpine Sensation, Sphinx, Jungfrau Panorama, Lindt Swiss Chocolate Heaven, Ice Palace and Snow Fun.

Day 10: Interlaken - Zurich (2h)

Breakfast. Train journey along the lake of Thun to Berne. It is possible to take a stopover here to discover Switzerland ‘s beautiful capital. Continue to Zurich. Time at leisure to discover the city.

Breakfast. Check of from Hotel and transfer to the airport.
