Visit the magnificent Northern Quarters, Palermo’s beautiful parks and buildings, Recoleta with its French-style architecture, bars and cafes; the imposing Colon Theater, Plaza de Mayo surrounded by Government House (The Pink House), The Old Cabildo (Town Hall) and the Metropolitan Cathedral; San Telmo, residence of the former aristocracy; colourful La Boca, the picturesque quarter of Italian immigrants and the fashion area of Puerto Madero with its many chic bars & restaurants. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Breakfast. Depart early for the airport to board your flight to Ushuaia, the world’s southernmost city. Upon arrival, meet your guide for the transfer to your hotel. Spend the afternoon at leisure: make your way to the End of the World Museum, and/or the Old Penitentiary Museum. Try the ridiculously delicious king crab for dinner on own.

Breakfast. Visit the Tierra del Fuego National Park, the only one in the country with a maritime coast. Within its 63,000 hectares are fire bushes, beech trees, ñires, box-leafed barberries, and endless profusions of flowers. Follow a road past peat bogs and beaver dams. Cross the Lapataia River and enjoy a magnificent view of Laguna Verde (Green Lagoon) and the upland geese and ibis that come here every summer. Take a walk up to Laguna Negra (Black Lagoon) or the Beavers’ Path to take wonderful photos. At Lapataia Bay, see a fascinating archaeological site of the original inhabitants of the island. Return to Ushuaia with a brief stop at Lake Roca. The afternoon is free.

Optional Tour: Sail along the Beagle Channel and visit Seal and Bird Islands, the penguin rockery, and Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse.
Breakfast. Check out. Fly from Ushuaia airport to El Calafate, a cozy little Patagonian village on the shore of Lake Argentino. El Calafate is the gateway to the Glaciers National Park. Arrive and meet your guide for transfer to your hotel.
In the afternoon, live the authentic Patagonian life at the “Estancia 25 de Mayo” Natural Reserve. Visit the old Stone House of the first family who settled down in this rugged land. Continue through the steppe towards “La Seccion,” an authentic ranch house where you’ll see the local animals.
Next stop, see the “guanacos” (wild South American camelids) herds, a deposit of fossilized oysters, dating back 23 million years. This immense desert was once a mighty ocean. Finally, stop at the Centinela Lookout Point at 1500 metres for a breathtaking view of hills that form Argentina and Chile’s border. Return to La Seccion, to enjoy a typically amazing meal. Return to your hotel.

Breakfast. Today, see the spectacular Perito Moreno Glacier, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. Spend approx 4 hrs walking along the various pathways. Framed by dramatic mountains, lakes and forests, it owes its fame to its continuous movement, which produces a cyclical phenomenon of advance and backward motion, causing awe-inspiring periods of ice-toppling. Return to your hotel.

Breakfast. Take a flight to San Carlos de Bariloche, a charming Alpine-style city, popular with tourists on the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi. Arrive and check in to your hotel. Bariloche’s deep blue lakes, towering mountains, glaciers, and virgin forests make it truly breathtaking. Stroll by the lake, explore the city and pick up Bariloche’s popular chocolates!

Breakfast. Northern Patagonia hosts the Lake District and world-famous national parks. Visit the Nahuel Huapi National Park to admire stunning landscape of lakes and snow-capped mountains. This tour starts at Bustillo Avenue, bordering Lake Nahuel Huapi, to visit Playa Bonita, Mount Campanario (chair lift is optional), San Pedro Peninsula, LlaoLlao Peninsula, Saint Edward’s Chapel and Port Pañuelo. Continue across the Angostura Bridge to arrive at Panoramic Point, a natural balcony over Moreno Lake and LlaoLlao Peninsula for magnificent views. Return to the hotel.

Breakfast. Check out and transfer to the airport for your flight to Puerto Iguazu where your local guide will meet for your hotel transfer. Learn about the national parks of this area where Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay meet. Check in and relax.

Breakfast. Visit the Argentinean side of the spectacular Iguassu Falls. First stop – the Visitors Centre, which demonstrates the biodiversity of this subtropical rainforest. Board a gas-propelled train to the Upper Falls Circuit and the Devil’s Throat for an astounding 2 hr walking tour. To visit the Devil’s Throat, jump on the train at the Cataratas Station, arrive and take a boardwalk to the balconies for an amazing panoramic view of this magnificent work of nature.

Breakfast. Enjoy an early morning walk on the Brazilian Side, crossing the border to see the falls from different viewpoints. At the end of the boardwalk, get up close to the spectacular Devil’s Throat and the main falls.
In the afternoon, transfer to the Puerto Iguazu (IGR) airport, fly to Buenos Aires, arrive and transfer to your city hotel. Visit the many shops, art galleries, bars, restaurants, and discotheques on your own.
