Spain in a Nutshell – 11 Days
Day 1: Madrid Hop on Hop off Tour

On arrival at Madrid, take a private transfer to the hotel. Check in and freshen up. In the afternoon, take the Hop on Hop off bus one of the easiest ways of discovering Madrid. The highlights of the tour are Gran Vía, Plaza de España, University, Moncloa, Habsburg old quarter, Calle Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Puerta de Alcalá, Paseo de la Castellana and the Real Madrid Stadium, Santiago Bernabéu (tour of the stadium available at extra cost).

Day 2: Madrid - Toledo Tour

Breakfast. Enjoy a half day trip to Toledo, one of the Spanish cities with the greatest wealth of monuments. Known as the “city of the three cultures”, because Christians, Arabs and Jews lived together there for centuries, behind its walls Toledo preserves an artistic and cultural legacy in the form of churches, palaces, fortresses, mosques and synagogues. The old quarter of the capital of La Mancha a real open-air museum, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Return to Madrid.

Day 3: Madrid - Sevilla - Hop on Hop off Sightseeing

After breakfast, check out and transfer to the train station to take the train to Sevilla. Arrive, transfer to the hotel and check in. Freshen up and go sightseeing based on a Hop on Hop off bus. Sevilla houses the government and parliament of this autonomous region. Legend says Sevilla was founded by Hercules. It was called Hispalis by the Romans and Isbiliya by the Moors. It was after the discovery of America that Sevilla reached its highest point in history as the Guadalquivir River that crosses the city can be navigated from Sevilla to Sanlucar de Barrameda, on the Atlantic Coast.

Day 4: Sevilla - Cordoba Tour

Breakfast. Check out and depart for Córdoba via Antequera. Upon arriving, enjoy a panoramic tour of the Roman Bridge, the Jewish quarter, the synagogue and the mosque and transfer to your hotel for check in. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 5: Sevilla - Malaga Hop on Hop Off Tour

Breakfast. Check out and transfer to the train station for the train to Malaga. Arrive, transfer to the hotel and check in. Go sightseeing on a Hop on Hop off bus. Explore the birthplace of Picasso! Malaga boasts pretty streets, leafy boulevards and lush gardens. Find out why the city’s cathedral is called ‘La Manquita’ – the one-armed lady! hear all about the old palace fortress and its 2 rings of walls and don’t miss the Picasso Museum!

Day 6: Malaga - Full Day Granada Excursion

Breakfast. Go on an excursion to Granada situated at the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. It was once the capital of the Moorish Kingdom, a reign which lasted almost 800 years, which has left Granada with the most important Moorish legacy in Spain; the Alhambra monument is one of the most brilliant jewels of universal architecture. Return to Malaga.

Day 7: Malaga - Valencia

Breakfast. Check out and transfer to the station to take the train to Valencia. Arrive transfer to the hotel and check in. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 8: Valencia - Hop on Hop Off

Breakfast. Enjoy sightseeing on a Hop on Hop off bus. Explore Valencia starting from Plaza del Ayuntamiento (town hall square), central market, former silk exchange.

“La Lonja”, Plaza de la Reina, cathedral, Miguelete bell tower, Turia riverbed gardens, City of Arts & Sciences and more.

Day 9: Valencia - Barcelona Hop on Hop Off

After breakfast, check out and transfer to the train station for the train to Barcelona. Arrive, transfer to your hotel and check in. In the afternoon go sightseeing on a Hop on – Hop off bus. See the key sights and world-famous attractions including the gothic quarter in the centre of the old city. Many buildings are UNESCO World Heritage Sites especially remarkable is the work of architect Antoni Gaudi, which can be seen throughout the city; the Sagrada Familia Cathedral, Casa Batlló, Casa Mila and Park Güell.

Day 10: Barcelona - Montserrat Excursion

Breakfast. Visit Montserrat, the holy mountain, with weird shapes and rounded peaks that jut into the sky offers impressive views. An almost 1000-year-old monastery hosts the oldest boys’ choir in Europe. Return to Barcelona. Rest of the evening is at leisure. Check with us for optional tours.

Day 11: Barcelona

Breakfast. Transfer to the International Airport to depart for your next destination.
