Day 1: Colombo - Kandy via Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage

On arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, meet our representative and transfer to Kandy. Enroute, visit Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage started in 1975 for abandoned and wounded elephants. Observe the care and daily routine of the elephants, such as bottle feeding of elephant calves, feeding elephants in their stalls, and bathing them in the Ma Oya River.

The best time to visit is feeding time from 09:30-10:00 hrs and 13:30-14:00 hrs and bathing time in the nearby river from 10:00-10:30 hrs and 14:00-14:30 hrs. Later drive to Kandy. Arrive and check-in at your hotel. In the evening depart for the Kandy city tour and cultural dance programme.

Day 2: Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, drive to Nuwara Eliya. Enroute, visit a tea factory and a tea plantation to see traditional tea plucking. On arrival in Nuwara Eliya, enjoy a city tour. Also known as the “City of Lights” and “Little England”, Nuwara Eliya was the favourite hill station of the British who tried to recreate a typical English village. The old brick Post Office, colonial-style Hill Club, now an exclusive hotel, the 18-hole golf course, racecourse, etc., all remind you of England. You can also taste freshly plucked strawberries and purchase fresh fruits and vegetables. Check-in. Rest of the evening is at leisure.

Day 3: Nuwara Eliya - City Tour

After breakfast, visit Haggala Gardens, a beautiful hill-country garden, home to many plants and flowers. See the Lovers Leap Fall, a 30-meter-high waterfall about 10 km from Nuwara Eliya. It is a popular spot for picnicking and hiking. Dinner.

Day 4: Nuwara Eliya - Bentota

After breakfast, transfer to Bentota, a beautiful beach town on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka. Bentota is known for its beautiful beaches and its water sports opportunities. You can swim, surf, windsurf and even go on a river safari.

In the afternoon, enjoy some free time to relax at the beach or explore Bentota on your own: Visiting the Bentota Lighthouse, the Bentota Bird Sanctuary, or the Bentota Coconut Lagoon. Dinner.

Day 5: Bentota - Galle Day Excursion - Turtle Hatchery

After breakfast, visit Galle, on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka, known for Galle Fort, the fortified old city founded by Portuguese colonists in the 16th century. Stone sea walls, expanded by the Dutch, encircle car-free streets with architecture reflecting Portuguese, Dutch and British rule. Notable buildings include the 18th century Dutch Reformed Church. Galle Lighthouse stands on the fort’s southeast tip. Enroute visit the Turtle Hatchery and return to your hotel.

Day 6: Bentota - Colombo - City Tour

After breakfast, drive to Colombo, the bustling capital of Sri Lanka. In the afternoon, join a city tour and visit some important landmarks including Fort, the Old Parliament Building, a Hindu Temple and a Dutch Church. Also visit the BMICH, the Independence Square and the Noritake Porcelain Centre.

In the evening, enjoy free time to go shopping at malls and markets where you can find souvenirs, clothes, and other items. Dinner.

Day 7: Colombo

After breakfast, the driver will pick you up for your transfer to the airport.
