Day 1: Moscow

Arrive Moscow airport where our representative will meet and transfer you to your hotel. Check-in. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2: Moscow - City Tour

Breakfast. Meet your guide for the panoramic city tour which includes the most interesting historical sights: the Red Square with St. Basil’s Cathedral (outside), Lenin’s tomb (outside), State Department Store (GUM), the Christ the Savior Cathedral (inside), the New Maiden Convent (outside), Moscow City business centre, the Victory Park, Moscow State University and Sparrow Hills observation platform for an amazing view of the city. Several stops are included. Lunch on your own.

Visit to the Kremlin & Cathedrals: The Kremlin is the oldest part of the city. For centuries it was the residency of grand dukes and tsars, later for Soviet Union’s rulers who lived in the palaces of the Kremlin. Today, Kremlin is an official residency of the president. Moscow started growing in the 12th century from the Kremlin. Explore the entire territory of the Kremlin with its unique architectural assemble.

Day 3: Moscow - Metro Tour

Breakfast. Experience the beautiful and safe Moscow Metro, one of the oldest underground systems in the world, opened in 1935. Visit the most impressive stations: Park Pobedi, Kievskaya, Novoslobodskaya, Komsomolskaya, Ploshad Revolutsii and Arbatskaya and take the longest escalator (64 meters).

Old Arbat Street: Walk along one of the oldest streets with more than 500 years history. The so-called Russian Montmartre has souvenir shops, historical buildings, and street performers and many little cafes for a tea or coffee break. Optional tour: Backstage of the legendary Bolshoi Theatre at additional cost.

Visit the Russian National Museum of Music. Its permanent collection is among the largest and most comprehensive in existence, presenting both world-renown pieces like Stradivari violins and local national instruments. Return toyour hotel.

Day 4: Moscow - St. Petersburg - City Tour

Check out after breakfast and transfer to the Railway Terminal to travel by 2nd class on the Sapsan train to St. Petersburg. Arrive and meet our representative. Enjoy city sightseeing with a local guide. Some of the photo stops are Kazan Cathedral (outside), Church on Spilled Blood (outside), St. Isaac’s Cathedral (outside), Nevsky street walk and visit to Peter and Paul Fortress. Transfer to your hotel and check in.

Day 5: St. Petersburg - Walking Tour

Breakfast. Meet your guide for the themed walking tour of “Russian Ballet and St. Petersburg”, see the Mansion of Matilda Kshesinskaya, visit the Alexandrinsky Theatre and the Mariinsky Theatre, a unique backstage tour. Return to your hotel.

Day 6: St. Petersburg - Hermitage Museum

Breakfast. One of the oldest museums in the world, this museum was founded by the empress Catherine the Great in 1764. It is the premier city attraction for lovers of art of painting, sculpture, jewellery art. It houses the richest collection of pieces of art after the Louvre in Paris and contains masterpieces of different epochs and different countries: the paintings of Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, Rubens, Michelangelo, Rafael; exhibits from the period of the Ancient Egypt and the Roman Empire till the modern art of the 21st century. One of the greatest masterpieces is its building which was built as a winter place for the royal family.

Day 7: St. Petersburg

Breakfast. Check out and transfer to airport for your flight back home.
