Breakfast. Pick up from your hotel to visit Sultan Palace, where Javanese culture and tradition is flourishing. Then see the colourful bird market and the Tamansari Water Castle, a recreation former garden or a retreat house for the Sultan and his family as well as a hiding place against enemies. Drive to the batik works, and see the production of batik; Kota Gede a silver craft production centre to see beautiful works of silver by artisans. Stop for lunch.

Visit the largest and most complex of the Shiva temples called the Temple Prambranan, with several shrines of Shiva and over 200 temples and shrines. The largest and longest known, Loro Jong Rank temple is covered with delightful and symmetrical reliefs of Ramayana episodes. Return to your hotel.

Breakfast. Depart at 6.30 am depart to see some of the most spectacular scenic points in central Java – the Dieng Plateau with its interesting ancient Hindu Temples (Candi Arjuna), Sikidang crater sulphur springs, Telaga Warna and geysers. Also visit The *Borobudur temple on the way back to Jogyakarta. Lunch is included.

*Stupa area is closed every Monday. Access to the Stupa areas of Borobudur is now available up to a maximum of 1200 visitors daily. Additional charge for tickets for the Stupa area is not included and is payable on the spot. Return to your hotel.
