Croatia at its Best – 7 days
Day 1: Zagreb

Arrive at Zagreb airport where you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2: Zagreb - Sightseeing Tour

Breakfast. Enjoy your tour (approx 2 hrs) with a local guide. Zagreb grew on two neighbouring hills: Kaptol – the centre of spiritual and religious life of north-western Croatia and Gradec – the commercial centre of skilful tradesmen and craftsmen. Take an easy walk with your guide, visiting the Upper Town with its Gothic Cathedral, the beautiful and ornate St. Catherine’s church or the massive St. Mark’s church with its famous colour-tiled roof. Continue to the medieval Stone Gate and “Dolac”, the open-air market which are a must-see.

Day 3: Zagreb - Plitvice National Park - Spilt

Breakfast. Visit Plitvice National Park with local guide (approx 2.5 hrs).

Plitvice National Park is one of the most beautiful and best-preserved National Parks in the country. The entire lakes and surrounding area were declared a National Park in 1949 and are listed on UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites list. It is in a valley between high forested mountains in which lie, one below another, a string of sixteen beautiful lakes of crystal blue and green waters. They spill into each other in 92 foaming cascades and thundering waterfalls. The lakes cover about 2 sq.km and the entire park covers 200 sq.km. Walk the paths and wooden bridges, take a boat ride or just take beautiful photographs. Transfer to Split (approx 2.5 hrs). Arrive and check into your hotel.

Day 4: Split - Blue Cave & Hvar Excursion (Optional Tour)

Breakfast. Discover the originality and magnificence of the Blue Cave on Biševo Island. Float in Stiniva Cove, taking in the encircling towering cliffs. Explore a thriving underwater world by Budikovac Island before visiting Palmižana Bay. End day with a stroll through the quaint streets of Hvar Town, lined with Venetian palaces, a palm-dotted seafront, and bustling squares. Return to Split.

Day 5: Split - Sightseeing Tour - Dubrovnik

Breakfast. Split sightseeing tour with local guide (duration approx. 2 hrs).

Enjoy your Split private tour (approx. 2.5 hrs) with guide along the Old City to visit main sights: the old town of Split built on and around the spectacular Roman Palace erected by the Roman Emperor Diocletian in the 4th century. The walking tour starts with a visit to the well-preserved cellars of the Palace.

The Cathedral St. Duje is in a church complex formed from an Imperial Roman mausoleum, with a bell tower; the church is strictly dedicated to the Virgin Mary, and the bell tower to Saint Duje.

Private transfer from Split to Dubrovnik, visiting Ston en route, with oysters/mussel’s tasting. Ston is a small town on a narrow isthmus connecting the peninsula of Peljesac with the mainland, known for traditional salt production, construction of a huge, fortified complex encompassing the settlements of Mali and Veliki Ston and high-quality oysters/mussels. The best oysters in Croatia and the world come from Mali Ston Bay, famous for seashell cultivation since the Roman Empire days. Continue to Dubrovnik. Arrive and check in at your hotel.

Day 6: Dubrovnik - Sightseeing Tour with Cable Car Ride

Breakfast. Your walking tour with a local guide takes you to one of the largest and most luxurious open-air museum towns. Depart on foot from Pile Square to the newly renovated cable car station, which will take you to the best panoramic bird’s eye view from Srd Hill. The greatness of Old Dubrovnik bathed in the sun will be an unforgettable sight. Get up to 60 km views and ample photo opportunities on a clear day. Once you descend, the guide will lead you by foot through the narrow streets of Old Town for a walking tour.

Day 7: Dubrovnik

Breakfast. Private transfer from your hotel to Dubrovnik airport.
