Breakfast. Get a glimpse of AlUla’s not-so-distant past on this tour. A Rawi (guide) will lead you through AlUla Old Town, where pilgrims, travellers and permanent settlers congregated through the ages. Inhabited from before the 12th century up until the early 1980s, AlUla Old Town offers researchers unique oral histories and living memory that the area’s other heritage sites cannot.

With 900 houses, 500 shops and 5 town squares, you can explore a maze of remnants of original stone and mudbrick buildings and enjoy views of the 10th century AlUla Castle. Learn about Old Town’s settlers and pilgrims, their motives and methods in the city’s construction.

Elephant Rock (2 hrs):Set in golden desert sand and climbing three storeys into the Saudi Arabian Sky, is the awe-inspiring Elephant Rock (also known as Jabal Alfil) one of AlUla’s many geological marvels.

Unlike the ornate, hand-carved facades of nearby Hegra’s Nabataean tombs, the “trunk” and “body” of this monolithic red sandstone beast were shaped by natural forces – millions of years of wind and water erosion.

The beauty of the unrefined structure is enhanced by a landscape of golden sands, studded with rocky outcrops, many equally impressive in size and have interesting shapes and figures.

AlUla Stargazing or Moon Night Experience (5 hrs):See the entire universe with this unique dinner experience under the clear skies of AlUla. Meet the team and drive to the remote Gharameel area for some of the best views of the night sky you’ll ever see.

On evenings when the moon is full, the tour will be the moonlit experience with a short walk. On darker evenings the tour will focus on stargazing. Our Star Guide will take you to this unique landscape. Dinner is prepared right on the campfire.

Full Day Dissah Tour (8 hrs):Visit one of the must-see natural jewels of Saudi Arabia “Wadi Qaraqir” or “Wadi Ad-dissah” in current times. Drive deeper inside this staggering canyon to enjoy its greenery, a small water stream that flows all year-round, the sandstone mountains with heights more than 100 to 500 meters, lush vegetation of 3-meter-high grass, numerous palm trees and bushes. Head to a nearby farm to enjoy lunch and return to AlUla.
