The Northern European cruise season lasts from late May through to September and the British Isles cruise season runs from April through to October. To avoid larger crowds, consider travelling during the shoulder seasons in the spring (April and May) or in the fall (September and October). Northern Europe – late summer provides the best weather with mid-June to early July being particularly interesting with possible views of the midnight sun, which disappears for only 3-4 hours every evening.
