Detailed Itinerary
DAY 1 – WELCOME TO LIMA
Assistance upon arrival at the International Airport of Lima and transfer to your hotel. There you will receive information about your tour and about the organization of your trip to Peru.
Overnight at hotel.
DAY 2 – LIMA
After having breakfast, a guided visit to the most attractive and important sites of Lima, the “City of Kings”. The tour begins in the residential districts of San Isidro and Miraflores, passing through the Huaca Pucllana, where you can see from outside the ceremonial and administrative center of the Culture of Lima built in the second century AD. C. that the Incas considered Ñaupallaqta or sacred town. We will also visit the park El Olivar with olive trees brought from Spain in the fifteenth century, the Central Park of Miraflores, and Larcomar, a symbol of modern Lima and a tourist and entertainment center, as well as a privileged site to enjoy an incredible view of the Pacific Ocean.

Finally, we will enter the Historic Center of Lima, passing through the Plaza San Martín, the Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the City Hall, the Cathedral and its Museum of Religious Art, and the Colonial Balconies of Lima. We will visit the Convent and the Church of San Francisco, the largest monumental complex of Colonial Art in America, and a Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
DAY 3 – LIMA - CUSCO
After having breakfast at the convenient time, transfer to the Lima airport to board your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, welcome and transfer to your hotel. Rest and adjust to the altitude.

DAY 4 – MACHU PICHU

After having breakfast at a convenient time, transfer to the train station in Poroy to take your expedition train to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, you will begin your tour with a 30-minute bus ride, climbing 6 km of winding road, to the incredible Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, also known as “The Lost City of the Incas”. We will participate in a guided tour of the Citadel, visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sun Dial, the Royal Rooms, the Temple of the Three Windows, and several cemeteries. Then, we take the bus back to Aguas Calientes. You will have a delicious buffet lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, you will go to the train station and wait for your trip back to Cusco. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 5: DEPART FROM CUSCO
After having breakfast at a convenient time, transfer to the Cusco airport to take your flight to Lima and connect with the flight back home.
