DAY 01: VIENNA

Arrive at Vienna airport and make your way to the hotel. Check in and day at leisure to explore this city of palaces, museums, and parks.

Spend some fun family time in the Prater with its famous Giant Ferris Wheel. Overnight in Vienna.

DAY 02: VIENNA – CITY TOUR & SCHONBRUNN PALACE

This morning, take a city tour of Vienna, which introduces you to the most important sights of the Austrian capital—driving around the famous ‘Ringstrasse’, Vienna’s main boulevard, passing by the State Opera, the Parliament building, the City Hall, and the University.

The highlight of the tour is a visit to the Schonbrunn Palace, where you take a tour of some of the most magnificently decorated rooms. Return to the city centre, passing by Belvedere Palace, and continue to the State Opera House, where the tour ends. Overnight in Vienna.

DAY 03: VIENNA - SALZBURG – SOUND OF MUSIC TOUR

Today, take a train to Salzburg. Keep your luggage at the hotel and leave to enjoy The Original Sound of Music tour, the top choice for fans of the iconic musical, which visits all the most memorable filming locations from the movie.

Admire magnificent views of the Austrian Lake District; visit Mirabell Gardens, Mondsee Cathedral, and Lake Wolfgang; and sing along with the soundtrack on the tour bus. Overnight in Salzburg.

DAY 04: SALZBURG – ZELL AM SEE

This morning, leave for a day trip to Zell am See, an Austrian town on Lake Zell, south of the city of Salzburg.

Its Romanesque St. Hippolyte Church has a distinctive tower added in the 15th century. Return to Salzburg. Overnight in Salzburg.

DAY 05: SALZBURG – SALT MINES AND BAVARIAN MOUNTAINS TOUR

Today, visit the underground world of Obersalzberg’s salt mines on this 4-hour trip from Salzburg. Led by a local guide, venture along the scenic Alpenstrasse as you wind through the Bavarian Alps. Suit up in traditional miners’ wear and descend into the salt mines, dating back 450 years. Then, experience a unique raft sail along the Salt Lake in the mines’ grottos and hear the history and lore of the underground world. After a stop at the charming village of Berchtesgaden, your tour will conclude in Salzburg.

DAY 06: SALZBURG - INNSBRUCK – SWAROVSKI CRYSTAL WORLD

Take transfer by train transfer to Innsbruck. Check into your hotel. Explore this little city, which is hidden between snow-capped mountains. In the afternoon, visit the sparkling world of Swarovski.

The Swarovski Kristallwelten is situated in Wattens. The water spouting Giant (a remarkably huge face sculptured on top of a rock) will amaze you with its sparkling eyes. Overnight in Innsbruck.

DAY 07: INNSBRUCK – NORDKETTE MOUNTAIN

This morning, you have the time to explore this beautiful mountain at the heart of Innsbruck. The Nordkette is part of Austria’s largest nature park, the Karwendel Nature Park, and can be reached directly from Innsbruck city centre in just a few minutes. Visit the Alpine Zoo, the Golden Roof Museum, and experience the hybrid funicular railway trains in Innsbruck.

The Seegrube, at an altitude of 6,250 ft., invites visitors and locals alike to relax, unwind, and take in nature at its very best, and also watch different athletes as they pursue their professions. The Hafelekar offers the impressive experience from the highest viewing point at an altitude of 2300m. Overnight in Innsbruck.

DAY 08: INNSBRUCK

Check out and transfer to the Innsbruck station/airport.
