Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Tbilisi Airport Arrival - Tbilisi O/N

Day 2: Tbilisi HTL - Tbilisi City Tour - Tbilisi O/N (B)
Today we are visiting the beautiful and lively capital of Georgia, Tbilisi. Our city tour starts at the Metekhi Church, from where we can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire old town. The colorful wooden balconies, fascinating architecture, and the blend of modern culture create an extraordinary impression. We will explore on foot and visit several historical and modern landmarks, such as the Sioni Cathedral, Anchiskhati Church, Synagogue, Peace Bridge, Marionette Theater, and much more. We will also delight in a cable car ride from Rike Park to the Narikala Fortress, and finally, we will visit the Sulphur baths district, with their beautiful colorful mosaics and brick domes. At the end of the tour, visit mount Mtatsminda through the Funicular cable, from the mount Mtatsminda you will be
enjoyed of panoramic views on Tbilisi.

Day 3: Tbilisi HTL - Drive to Kakheti - Bodbe Monastery - Sighnaghi - Tbilisi O/N (B)
Today, we are heading to the wine region of Kakheti. This beautiful region is known for its wine production and has incredibly many cultural monuments. In Georgia, a total of 527 species of endemic grape varieties grow, and the traditional wine-making method dates back 8000 years. That’s why this method is also recognized as UNESCO’s intangible cultural heritage. Nowadays, Georgia is considered the oldest wine country in the world and is also known as the cradle of wine.
Visit the Bodbe Monastery and nunnery with its beautiful garden, where St. Nino, who converted Georgia to christianity, is burried.
We visit the picturesque small town of Sighnaghi, often referred to as the “Georgian Tuscany”. This beautiful 18th-century town has a 4.8-kilometer-long wall with several watchtowers. Here, we’ll take a stroll and enjoy the panoramic view of the Alazani Valley with the fascinating Caucasus Mountains in the background.

Day 4: Tbilisi HTL - Ananuri Complex - Stepantsminda - Gergety Trinity Church (by 4X4 vehicles) - Tbilisi O/N (B)
We will go sightseeing at the Ananuri Complex (17th c.), which overlooks Zhinvali Reservoir, and view the carved facades of its main church, upon which we can find special works of craftsmanship: carved crosses, archangels, fictitious creatures and trees of life. It is a unique example of Georgian ecclesial architecture. Stepantsminda, also known as Kasbegi, is a picturesque town in Georgia, located near the Russian border. Named after the famous writer Alexander Kasbeg, who hailed from this region, Stepantsminda is the last Georgian town before the border. The most striking feature of Stepantsminda is undoubtedly the majestic Mount Mkinvartsveri, also known as Kasbeg. Standing at an impressive height of 5054 meters, it towers in the sky, providing a breathtaking backdrop to the town. The mountain is not only a stunning natural wonder but also an essential part of the region's culture and history.
Stepantsminda serves as an ideal starting point for adventures in the Caucasus Mountains, offering numerous hiking and climbing opportunities for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. The town's charming atmosphere and impressive landscape make it an unforgettable destination for anyone looking to explore the beauty and diversity of Georgia.
Today, we are driving with off-road vehicles from Stepantsminda to the Gergeti Trinity Church. From the church, weather permitting, we can admire the majestic 5054-meter-high Mount Kazbek, the “White Pearl of the Caucasus”.
