Detailed Itinerary

DAY 01: LONDON

Arrive at London airport and transfer to your hotel. Free time to freshen up. In the evening, enjoy a flight on the London Eye. On a clear day, the views can stretch as far as 25 miles to Windsor Castle.

DAY 02: LONDON CITY TOUR

The tour begins with a panoramic drive around Parliament Square to see the magnificent Westminster Abbey, where Prince William and Kate Middleton were married. To Kensington Palace, the former home of Diana, Princess of Wales. We’ll see the Royal Albert Hall and the Albert Memorial. Later, you head to St James’ Park and Buckingham Palace to see the colourful ceremony of the Changing of the Guard. Accompanied by a military band, a detachment of the Queen’s Foot Guard marches to Buckingham Palace to change with the old guard.

Later visit to Madame Tussauds and Marvel Super Heroes 4D, and enjoy amazingly lifelike wax figures of some of the world’s most famous faces. Get closer than you think as you walk down the red carpet and strike a pose with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, before stepping into our interactive sports zone alongside David Beckham and Usain Bolt. Then enter the spectacular Marvel Super Heroes 4D movie experience.

DAY 03: LONDON

Discover more than 1,000 years of history at the Tower of London, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of London’s most iconic attractions. Originally built by William the Conqueror in 1066, this imposing fortress has played many roles: royal palace, prison, armory, royal mint, and the infamous site of historic execution.

The ticket also includes entry to see the impressive Crown Jewels, which have to be seen to be believed. Cruise down the River Thames and learn about London’s top landmarks with the river Cruise expert guides.

DAY 04: LONDON

During this full-day tour, the first stop is at Windsor Castle (the castle is closed Tuesday–Wednesday), the ancestral home of the British Royal family for more than 900 years and the largest, continuously occupied castle in Europe. Marvel at the splendour of the State Apartments, the grandest apartments in England. Next, we’ll transport you to the enigmatic Stonehenge, where ancient mysteries meet awe-inspiring architecture. Feel the weight of history as you stand before these colossal stone circles, pondering the mystical purpose behind this UNESCO World Heritage site.

As the journey continues, Bath beckons with its Roman roots and Georgian elegance. See the exquisite Bath Abbey, stroll along the charming Pulteney Bridge, and discover the Roman Baths’ soothing thermal waters. The city’s golden-hued architecture and quaint streets will transport you to a bygone era.

DAY 05: LONDON – EDINBURGH

Check out of the hotel and make your way to the train station. Take the train to Edinburgh, arrive, and check into your hotel. Free time to explore the city on your own.

DAY 06: EDINBURGH

On this tour, we leave Edinburgh and travel west, passing Linlithgow Palace, the birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots. On our way to Loch Lomond, we stop at the Kelpies Monument. These two magnificent horse heads stand as a testament to the horsepower that drove the industrial development of Central Scotland.

Next, we head to the shores of Loch Lomond, Scotland’s largest loch, which is protected as the country’s first National Park. As you explore the trails by the loch, you’ll be walking in the footsteps of one of Scotland’s greatest legends. We then enter the Trossachs, often described as ‘The Highlands in Miniature,’ where the Lowlands meet the Highlands. With steep mountains, shimmering lochs, and thick forests, this area is truly stunning. We stop for lunch (at your own expense) in Aberfoyle, a charming village surrounded by the beautiful landscapes that inspired Sir Walter Scott. Next, we head to the city of Stirling, where you can visit one of Scotland’s most magnificent castles. You have an option to pay on the spot and venture inside the castle and discover why it played such a crucial role in Scottish history.

DAY 07: EDINBURGH

Hop aboard the Edinburgh bus tour at Waterloo Place in central Edinburgh. From here, travel along Princes Street and past Scott’s Monument, dedicated to the famous poet and writer Sir Walter Scott.

Continuing along Princes Street under the impressive Edinburgh Castle, your English audio guide tells you about the famous building itself and the gorgeous gardens that sit below it. Later visit to Edinburgh Castle, a historic fortress which dominates the skyline of Edinburgh.

DAY 08: EDINBURGH – INVERNESS

Check out and train to Inverness. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Enjoy the Inverness City Walking Tour for 1.5 hours.

DAY 09: INVERNESS - ISLE OF SKYE

After departing from Inverness, we travel south, hugging the shoreline of Loch Ness to Invermoriston. Loch Ness, 24 miles long and over 700ft deep, is most famous for its sightings of the Loch Ness Monster, affectionately known as ‘Nessie’. As we travel past the loch towards Invermoriston for a quick break, keep an eye out for Nessie.

After Loch Ness, our Skye Tour continues to Eilean Donan Castle, one of Scotland’s most photographed castles. The castle is situated on its own island at the head of Loch Duich. We take time here to explore the castle and its atmospheric surroundings (entrance is optional and payable on the spot). Afterwards, we continue our journey to the east, passing over the Skye Bridge and on to the small village of Portree for Isle of Skye ur lunchtime stop. Portree, although a small harbour village, is the capital of Skye and is surrounded by rocky cliffs and rolling hills. Its beautiful surroundings make it a perfect stop to have lunch (at own expense) and enjoy views of the boats. Moving on, we visit various points of interest in Skye, such as Kilt Rock for amazing coastal views, take a short walk at Lealt Falls, and admire the Old Man of Storr. After spending the afternoon exploring Skye and admiring its stunning scenery, we will stop off on the return journey at Strome Viewpoint (April-October) for photos of Loch Carron before continuing homeward bound to Inverness, where your Isle of Skye day tour ends.

DAY 10: INVERNESS

Check out from the hotel and transfer to Inverness station/airport.
