Detailed Itinerary

DAY 01: KILIMANJARO - ARUSHA

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be transferred to the lodge in Arusha, where you will check in for dinner, enjoy your overnight stay, and prepare for the next day’s adventure. Your guide will give a short briefing to prepare you for the exciting journey ahead.

DAY 02: ARUSHA – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its vast landscapes, iconic baobab trees, and one of the highest concentrations of African elephants in Tanzania. Spanning approximately 2,603 sq. km, the park is home to diverse wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, lions, leopards, antelopes, and more. It is also a paradise for bird lovers, with over 500 bird species recorded.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park, followed by an afternoon game drive before heading to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 03: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet diverse park famous for its tree-climbing lions and rich birdlife. Covering approximately 325 sq. km, much of the park is dominated by the shallow alkaline lake, attracting large flocks of flamingos, pelicans, storks, and other migratory and resident bird species.

The park is also home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, baboons, and more. Set along the Great Rift Valley, it offers scenic landscapes and unique experiences. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park, followed by continued exploration before heading to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 04: DRIVE TO CENTRAL SERENGETI

After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying scenic landscapes and a picnic lunch en route. Stop at a traditional Maasai Boma to experience Maasai culture, followed by a visit to Olduvai Gorge, renowned for its insights into human evolution.

Continue with a game drive towards Central Serengeti, spotting diverse wildlife including big cats and elephants amid stunning surroundings. Arrive at your camp in the afternoon for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 05: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE IN CENTRAL SERENGETI

After breakfast, enjoy a full day game drive in Serengeti National Park, famous for its endless plains and abundant wildlife. Home to the iconic Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo—the park also hosts large herds of plains game, including impalas.

Explore the wildlife-rich Seronera region, where the Seronera River attracts a high concentration of animals and offers excellent chances to spot lion prides and other predators. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before returning to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 06: SERENGETI- NGORONGORO CRATER

After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater rim for breathtaking views before descending into this UNESCO-listed wonder for a game drive. The crater, home to over 30,000 animals, offers excellent wildlife sightings, including lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, and the rare black rhino.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater, followed by continued exploration. In the late afternoon, ascend the crater and proceed to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 07: KARATU - KILIMANJARO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

After breakfast at the lodge, you will be transferred straight to Kilimanjaro International Airport to catch your onward flight back home.
